PlayON – £5,000 Guaranteed Pot For Gameweek 4

As you may know, we’re supporting PlayON as our weekly Fantasy Football pursuit this season. With the international break upon us, these guys have decided to spice things up in their part of the world, putting no less than £5,000 guaranteed in a Gameweek 4 prize pot for a £5 entry.

At present, the prize pot stands at a cool £1,000 guaranteed but, once the game hits 500 entrants, they will raise it to £5,000. To make that happen, PlayON have put a deadline in place of Sunday evening at 10pm to get those 500 players on board.

Here are Fantasy Football Scout, we’re very happy to get the word out and help get that pot in place so that hopefully a member of our community can grab their share of the potential prize.

If you’ve yet to try out PlayON, this is a superb opportunity to get involved.

As there are no fixtures this weekend, you’ve got time to register and get tinkering with a starting XI. With the new transfer window players added, there’s also every chance you can snaffle several bargains and assemble a rather decent squad – Mesut Ozil at 9.6m or Erik Lamela for 6.2m, anyone?

Rest assured, you only need to register a provisional team and enter the game by 10pm on Sunday. You can continue to tinker with your team right up to the first kick-off on Saturday September 14, when United entertain Palace at 12.45pm.

You’ll find a full strategy guide to the game right here, offering tips that we’ve gathered over our experiences with the game. We’ll also be following up with specific player picks for Gameweek 4 next week so keep ‘em peeled for that.

In the meantime, get involved and spread the word on this to help populate the game and ensure that PlayON deliver on their £5,000 prize promise. Remember – there needs to be 500 players in the “£1000 Guaranteed” game by Sunday 10pm for the £5,000 prize pot to be triggered.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I can see Nani exploding as it appears that Moyes giving him that deal must see him as a first teamer and maybe even a starting XI, might just give him a try now as I'll be totally gutted if he was to start against Palace and scores, he looked like the spark utd are missing at the moment.

Fair enough, it'd be daft to make a decision based on a single Youtube video and I'd hope that anyone had the intelligence to not use just a single Youtube video as their guide; but I thought it would make a contribution in any amount, to information they wished to have on a player. It was never intended to be a "be all and end all" of player research 🙂

Was just checking the world cup qualifying tables and still can't believe how easy two of the groups are.

Who is 1st and 2nd seed? none of them look like they should be. I think The Swiss got the easy group due to some UEFA rigging.

    Switzerland
    Albania

    Norway

Norway have played in 2 World Cups and 1 European Championships in the last 20 years.

Greece qualified for the 2008 and 2012 European Championships (reaching the QFs) and the 2010 World Cup

Slovenia took part in the World Cup finals in 2010 and 2002. To have only been alive for one of those events would make you 10 years old. Not sure what your point is.

So they are seeded the same as France? Who have qualified for basically everything in last 20 years, and won both tournaments. My point is the seeding system is flawed and you're just talking for the sake of it.

I never stated the seeding system was perfect (although for what it's worth it's pretty good, no system is perfect)

I know how we can bring their differences together.

      Forca is Croatian
      Nate is Australian.

If we can get Mark Viduka to somehow mediate their arguments, maybe he will appeal to both and peace will prevail.

I'm thinking of the same move. Everton have been solid at the back but WBA and Cardiff aren't the hardest games. I think we would be relying on attaching returns from Coleman and not sure he'll keep it up. Fancy Mert to outscore him in the next 6.

Yeah, think I've missed the boat on Coleman. Can't see a decent run till GW16

I like them. If they're as frugal as they have been I can't see why they can't pick up some CS over the next while. Bar City away really.

Next 4 are poor, with GW6 a ray of light in the darkness.

Look further back...Everton have had something like 8 or 9 C/S's in their last twelve prem games going back into last season...That can't all be down to good fixtures....

I feel so much better about holding Dzeko after Applebonkers posted these quotes from Negredo

“The manager has decided that Edin will start, so all I can do to try to change that is to keep on working in training and be ready whenever he calls on me from the bench."

“He's not said anything at all to me. He's just said that Edin is playing from the start, so all I can do is work. "

Not for me. I'm ecstatic to see the back of him and I will not own another City player this season.

          "has decided"
          "he's said"

Present perfect tense, roughly means "up to now".

It doesn't, however, talk about the future
