Infographic – Head to Head – Ozil vs Eriksen

Here’s something new we’re trialling. Created by our artist and community member, Will, this rather slick infographic sums up Mesut Ozil’s debut for Arsenal and pitches it against Tottenham’s new “number 10” Christian Eriksen.

was exactly the same situation this gw and lescott didn't play.
javi garcia - a ridiculous scape-goat against cardiff when none of the 3 goals were anything to do with him - is arguably a better right sided centre back than lescott, certainly when you factor in his rolls-royce distribution from the back

A big part of Everton's attacking play. On some set pieces (seems to be 50/50 free kicks with Baines). Cheap. Differential.

My only concern is the value he represents in teams that are favouring 4 larger defenders and 3 up front...

      Should be able to afford

      RVP, 9m, 7.5,
      9,8,7
      5, 6, 6, 5

This is where I am, and I think I like it given the BAPS rolling in for defenders. MF spots are too hard to justify small expense. Ozil, Eriksen, Walcott, Barfa all higher up my list.

      B

He's absolutely FPL gold. If he's in even 75% of the form of last year at everton, he'll bag a brace every other game.

I've yet to see Benteke, Giroud, Lukaku front three, but come GW7 I think it'll be almost nailed on to afford big defenders.

    Vorm,
    Mertesacker, Zabaleta, Coleman
    Eriksen, Mirallas, Walcott, Ben-Arfa
    Giroud, Soldado, Benteke

    subs: Stekelenburg, Barkley, Amorebieta, Shaw
I took -4 for and transferred dzeko and silva out to bring in Eriksen and Giroud.

Im not really satisfied with my goalkeepers..I'm also worried when will I get rid of amorebieta and mirallas but there have been more serious weaknesses in my team which I had to pay attention to. Somehow I have also evaded using wc but I have taken -4 hit in every gameweek so far. 🙁

    Considering Ivan to distin

    Pros:
    Everton are tight defensively
ATM I see more points than with Ivan
    Distin is good for bps
£1.5m extra for elsewhere (maybe whit to mert or just plough 1.5 into mid)

    Cons:

Sorts it for me. Of course, having both is an option too.

I transferred Eriksen in on a WC before this GW and I'm happy.
I think he has the potential to bring great returns FPL-wise as he may be the main delivery man for the Spurs.
So can Ozil for Arsenal. But Arsenal has also Giroud and Walcott plus Cazorla. I have Walcott and think sorting the Rooney - van Persie dilemma is a priority now.

    People's thoughts on Senderos?

I brought him in as a cheeky punt this week and while the clean sheet loss was annoying an assit and 2 BPs were more than I was expecting

Will he likely keep first team place now?
TotalFPL have him as close to another drop to 4.3 as well.....

Not a given, just my view.

Amorebieta was bought to be first choice CB but got injured, would be very surprised if he didn't establish himself soon.

AVB talked about him not having a weeks training with the first team, which was his concern.

Yep, he's unlikely to go down in price and it's been noted by others here that he offers more chance of 'explosive' hauls than Erikson... I brought him in on my WC last week and I'm a-keepin'.

    Coleman, Zabaleta, Fonte (Chester, Whittaker)
    Ozil, Coutinho, Walcott, Brady (JWP)
    Soldado, Giroud, Benteke
    0.6 in the bank

A)Zabaleta to Ferdinand, next week Soldado to Rooney
B)Coutinho to Erikson/HBA next week Soldado to Rooney

    D) Save the FT

    Lost on last article...

Looking to get HBA but not keen on offloading any of these 3:

    Wally
    Oscar
    Mirallas

Don't know why I even bother putting Wally on the list. Looks like Mirallas could be in for a price drop so might just do him, guaranteed he will score next week though!

RMWCT anyone? Given arsenal's run of fixtures I think I want to punt on 3 attacking, and swansea's take a nice upswing after tonight. Waiting on the outcome of tonight's match to hit the button.

    Mignolet (Lewis)
    Walker - Agger - Coleman - Davies - Chester
    Walcott - Ozil - HBA - Hernandez - Barkley
    Sturridge - Giroud - Benteke

    A few tossups:

    Enrique or Agger?
    Barkley or Whittingham?
Lewis and Davies or Boruc and Yanga-Mbiwa?
