Having opened the season with a double in the Community Shield win over Wigan, Robin Van Persie’s brace in the Gameweek 1 win at Swansea suggested we were in for yet another year of consistent goalscoring.       depends on the date really but i assume there will be no international breaks like now, to allow more BPL games to take place and there will be more midweek games where there is space. The European group competition will be finished before the WC as well as the QF of the League cup. Probably a 6 week winter break and then come back to pla 3rd round of the FA Cup. The season will probably be extended into June as well
