Paddy Power Special – Darren Bent 5/1 to Score At Palace Tonight

Paddy Power are on hand again with some new enhanced odds ahead of this evening’s final match of the Gameweek. This time round, they are offering 5/1 on Darren Bent to score anytime for Fulham away to Palace, as the Cottagers striker looks to notch in back-to-back matches.

Regular punters are faced with odds of 11/5 for this particular bet so, if you’ve yet to register an account with Paddy, this is another great opportunity to sign up and, hopefully, fetch some winnings – just ask those who profited from the 4/1 odds on a Spurs win yesterday.

If you’ve already registered an account, you can still benefit from a Money Back Special on this match. Paddy are offering refunds on all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast bets on the game should it end in a draw.

To clarify, this Darren Bent special is limited to a £10 stake, is open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to have a bet, always gamble responsibly.

There's not a football site, particularly one with stats present, that doesn't have and push deals with bookmakers. We at least restrict ours to one bookie and I try to ensure that when we push them, we get something exclusive from them.

I recognise that it is done very sensibly, I just personally feel it has increased significantly recently, and especially with many younger characters around these parts, I personally against the influx. Repost from last article last page.*

I'm looking to take out HBA today before the fall for another MF. I have 1.4m in the bank. Here is my current team.

    Mignolet/Lewis
    Coleman, Koscielny, Shaw
    Barkley, Eriksen, Ben Arfa, Michu
    Sturridge, Giroud, van Persie
    (Morrison, Collins, Chester)

Any suggestions? I'm looking at Ramsey but he surely can't keep up this pace, can he? Plus Walcott in just 2 weeks. Should I even spend the FT? Maybe on another spot? Stuck a bit here. Getting closer and closer to jumping ship on the RVP group.

    Thanks.

So barfa is away to Sunderland next up.

What about doing something with Collins or saving?
Then it can be RVP to Aguero or anyone you choose and HBA to Walcott when fit?

Good idea there. That would also let me do Eriksen > Oscar with some free money. I hate to ditch RVP but he just isn't producing as I would want him to be for 14m. Many players doing the same or even better for 11m and under.

Yup, maybe take a hit if you want to get them in sooner.

Collins to someone like Clyne or a 5m (I went Chico last week)
          RVP to Aguero/bentekkers
          Eriksen to Oscar
          HBA to Walcott.

Looking good, if a little template

    Sky game:

So I went from Ozil > Soldado captaincy this weekend - which worked out very well. But what do I do now?

Soldado plays on Sunday so would only have one capt for next weekend unless I transfer him out?

I don't fancy any ful or palace strikers but they would give me 2 extra captaincy attempts. I also can't afford berba (as he is more expensive than Soldado in sky game) so would need to go with Ruiz

Anyone familiar with the sky game that could help?

You may as well give up on Soldado as if you captain him next week you'll be in the same situation again of him playing on the last day of the following week.

Either spend some transfers or find an alternate route where you get 3-4 captains which can make up for it.

I've never really analysed it detail, but the RMT seems to give roughly the same score for most weeks for me( low 50's).
What i actually get fluctuates wildly from that (usually on the lower end recently).

I don't want to be a moaner but given that the FFS Team News section doesn't expect Bent to start, shouldn't you at least make a mention of that in the article?

Obviously everyone has to make their own call on whether it's a good bet or not, but just doesn't feel quite right, a site which is essentially here to provide advice promoting bets without giving considered advice about whether it's a good bet or not...

    Maybe that's just me though.

Yeah, I'm not saying it's a bad bet... In fact, I'm thinking about a last goalscorer bet myself. Just feels like a bit more analysis in these posts wouldn't go amiss. Even if you were to promote some other odds like "You might think last goal-scorer at 13-2 is better value, given the fact that Bent scored off the bench last week" that would somehow sit better with me. Just a personal view though.

I'd also just like to separate this from the posts above - absolutely no problem with you using PP as a revenue source, totally get that. (Not that you should care whether I have a problem with it or not!)

He has Hull at home and whether he was just rested for internationals or form is still unclear.

The major differance being wehad players on hugh wages, who played way below their ability because there place off work was meaningless. Things need to change, players need to be made more accountable. Boswinga recently stated that QPR paid what was acceptable for a Chelsea player on a free. The reality is he was a player deemed no longer good enough for them. Moses, Sinclair and hosts of others become overvalued for their ability when hoovered up by the big boys. Reality is when they are sold because they don't make the grade the pay them what the are worth in reality.

Sunderland have a similar problem though.

9 of their players are out of contract at the end of the season and the general feeling is that they don't expect to be there next season so they don't give a sh*t.

General feeling is that they've seen off so many managers that they don't even get the new manager bounce anymore.

Reports from Radio Newcastle of dressing room disunity already. Westwood is apparently furious with the 'defence' in front of him and couldn't give a planned interview on Sunday because he said it would not be fit for radio.

Make no mistakes about it, Crouchy, they're in deep doo and their fans hate Bardsley as much as ours hated Bosingwa.
