The Christmas period traditionally starts from mid / Late November > end / start of jan , bearing this in mind do you :
A - think it's too early for our Grav Hats
B - think its fine to start wearing them now
C - don't really give a Chris Brunt either way

After ITWT's post earlier in the day, thought I'd see if Coutinho is as threatening as the 'shots' stat suggests, & it is just one game I looked at, so my own conclusions are more about the interpretation of threat rather than just about Coutinho. Found a clip* of his performance and had a look at his shots. Found relevant ones at 0.26, 1.09, 3.07, 3.26, 5.28, 6.20 & 7.51. Yip, I've had some spare time today. Pretty much all tame except the 3.07 one. The others about as threatening as a feather-wielding sedated one-legged kitten. Fair enough, he's in the positions regularly, but looks to require a howler by the keeper for him to actually score. He will now, of course, score well for the remainder of the season and cost 12.6 by gw 38. Fin.

One time on FM11 I was the manager of Swansea and I bought Chris Brunt. I had Brunt as left CAM and Robben on The right. That says it all.
I won CL. Brunt was The best player of the tournament.

WBA have - Aston (gw12), Newcastle (gw13), Man City (gw14) - I don't think he will get any clean sheets with those 3 games. Then from gw15-19 WBA has Norwich (h), Cardiff (a), Hull (h), Tot (a), West Ham (a). I can see at least 3-4 clean sheets.

Brunt will match him in pts anyway and its 4m cheaper. Also on penalties and Ozil isn't 😉 😛

Rotation happens on every team over Xmas. Simply too many games in too short a space of time to play the first XI every one of them. As long as you have 5 defenders that regularly start there's no need to worry about Evans being rotated.

It's Roy Keane looking through the eye of a birds beak , tho in rhetorical so to speak it is of greater significance to one community than another but until you get your head out of your hands I don't think you will understand the significance of these worldy things.

And what is this about the bird beak, must I really Google it?

I've ben to Ireland 4 times. I learned things about onion rings up north I never thought I would. I spend most of my time in County Donegal when I go these days, but probably time to branch out a little more after doing that twice now in 1999 and 2010.

        disagree

He once drove me to insanity playing half as good as Ramsey this season for a whole year for ManCity. Set my record for stubborn stupidity not buying him that year.

Has acted like a tosser regularly throughout his career. Got demoted at ManCity, then went to Villa and got demoted, then found himself at Stoke. Somewhere along the way, in his mids 20s, he resigned from international football just to irritate his hometown press and act like he was too good to be bothered with internationals. Might be getting a rebirth now, and I'm tempted, but he's still a tosser.
