The Big Numbers – Gameweek 16

A number of midfielders are placed under the spotlight, with Arsenal, City, Chelsea and Liverpool all serving up some strong statistics. The performance of Unitedโ€™s frontmen at Villa and Tottenhamโ€™s inability to find the net under the now-departed Andre Boas-Villa also come under analysis as we delve into the data.

Didn't Mourinho stated his backline for Capital One Cup will be

    Azpi-Cahill-Luiz-Cole

Safe to say Terry is nailed on for weekend then?

Guess it depends on 2 things.

      a) The difference who think in the scores this week.
      b) The amount you save by getting him this week over next.

Coutinho just doesn't look good as a fantasy prospect having watched the last 2 pool games.

Wondering if it's worth shifting Ozil to Walcott for a hit this week even. Thoughts Acqua? It's either

      A) Kosc & Sess > Brown & Silva (-4)
      B) Ozil & Sess > Walcott & Silva (-4)

B looks very tempting. If you're defence is ok with you keeping Kos, I'd say B.

If you need that extra defender, I'd go A with Walcott over Silva.

Thanks Acqua. Yea it can probably hold for the week. Have Coleman Chester Bturner and Ward.

If it's A it'd have to be silva unless I triple up with ARS mids! Not ideal. Might just go with B. Want that mid eventually anyway. Mighty tempting.

Maybe after the first goal. I see Chelsea defending and Arsenal on possession. Chelsea tries to counter but Arsenal hits on re-counters.

Resolved not to make any last minute panic...

    Speroni
    Zabaleta / Mertesacker / Walker / Coleman
    Yaya / Ramsey / Hazard / Silva
    Suarez (C) / Lukaku

Subs: Marshall ; Berbatov / Baker / Brunt

    1.0m in bank; 0FT

Any hits required? Transfer out Walker? Swap Berbatov and Zabaleta?

      Hold. No hits.
Bench Mert and play Berba. You will have a decent squad for the week.

You must have a high team value! No hits necessary this week but I'd look to play Berba instead of a defender (maybe Mert)

Thanks. Team Value is 108.4m. I had to swap out Aguero this week, and got in Silva (could have gone Walcott, but with the devastating form of City, I went with Silva - hope he doesn't pick up the YC)...

        Thanks for the suggestion.

I am doing Brady > Wally (-4) and it should pay off over the next 2-3 weeks I think. Ravmo will at least start so it's not such an easy call.

      Hope that helps!

Not expecting much from the Ravel over the next few weeks to be honest.. Think i'll just go ahead and do it..
Lukaku, Silva and Wally in for Aguero, Brady and Ravel (already done the first 2).. i'm sure i'll look back in a couple and weeks and say it was worth it.. Sick of carrying deadwood around.

    Am I going mad?

As a Mirallas owner, who scored at the w/e and now seems nailed on with Deulofeu out injured, I'm considering getting rid of him for a hit this week.

Mirallas -> Walcott (4 points) - Yay or Nay?

NB: I can't afford this move next week

New crowd so I'll ask this again.
I have 1 FT and 1.3 banked. Currently considering ~

    A. Chico to Evans
    B. Nasri to Silva/Walcott
    C. Ozil to Silva/Walcott
    D. Save FT.

    Team is ~

    Howard
    B. Turner - Chester - Ridgewell
    Nasri - Oscar - Ozil - RavMo
    Lukaku - Rooney - Suarez

    ------ Barkley - Vlaar - Chico

    Thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚
