Paddy Power Special – 5/1 Tasty Treble on Liverpool, City and United All To Win

Once again, Paddy Power have laid on another enhanced market for the upcoming round of matches. This time around, our bookmaker friends are dangling Tasty Treble odds of 5/1 for Liverpool, Man City and Man United all to win against Cardiff, Fulham and West Ham respectively this weekend.

When you consider that the regular odds on a treble for all three to win are just 11/8, this looks a standout deal for those yet to sign up with Paddy. If you don’t have an account and fancy a piece of the action, click here to join up and take advantage of the offer.

To clarify, the Tasty Treble enhanced odds specials are limited to a £10 stake, are open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

I like your style. Personally going for 11.25 for a good dose of panic to wake me up. Speed read any info I can get my hands on in a half asleep/hungover stupor...only to (hopefully) do nothing. One last glance, refresh at 11.31, Bacon sandwich, tea, shower...kettle on and more tea until...yes it's updated! Spend 30 minutes analyzing my mini league rivals! LOL got to love FPL Saturday mornings!

need some advice on possible transfers--already used FT for Aguero --> Rooney

I'm looking to free up funds to upgrade midfield before GW 18; most likely, I will transfer out Chico--but for which inexpensive defender--M. Olsson, Ward, or someone else?

also then, should I take a -8 and replace Boruc? yes or no

    Mignolet, Boruc
Chico, Williamson, Coleman, Clark, Ryan Bennett
    Ozil, Hazard, Brady, Brunt, Ramsey
    Lukaku, Suarez, Rooney

well, Hull have tough fixtures until mid-Jan.

what about M. Ollson (4.2)--he's the one I've been most considering...

And no don't take a hit to replace Boruc when you will be most likely playing Migs against Cardiff anyway.

this is right--but I'm thinking of getting another GK in for GWs 18 and 19, when Liverpool play Man City and Chelsea on the road

is it worth it to do a -8 (defender transfer also) and get a short-run GK for those weeks?

I don't want to take a deduction with the added competition starting in GW 18

I'd look at MOlsson over Palace. Just don't think the sunshine will last on them.

        thanks--think I will do Chico --> M. Olsson

next question (also above)--what to do about GK?

Boruc is injured of course; have Mignolet, and will use him mostly, but has Man City and Chelsea coming up--should I take a deduction now to get in either Marshall (short-term play, mainly for those 2 weeks), or Boruc's understudy at Southampton--Gazzaniga (cheap, at 4.0)?

            so a -4 for Chico --> M. Olsson

what should I do about GK though, in general? I want to make Brady --> Cabaye the FT for GW 18, and I'd rather not take a deduction from GW 18 for a bit...

I'd just leave the GK. And only do the first hit if it allows next weeks move. Otherwise it is dubious.

I'm pretty sure it was not part of the plan but if one of your players gets injured you need to get them out. When you bought them is irrelevant.
In this instance I think holding Rooney is the right approach (again when you bought him is irrelevant) as he may still play

    4pt hit

Instead, before Wednesday's games I did:

    Aguero > Rooney
    Ravel > Silva
    Mertesacker > Turner

    8pt hit

Now stuck with Rooney and Zabalets injured 🙁 🙁

I am looking at two transfers that will sort out my team long term, at the cost of an 8 point hit this week. Clyne & Coutinho > Chester & Silva (-8) would get a perenially injured player off my books and get Silva in who looks like he's got the added goal threat of playing in the hole for City.

    It is pretty risky though.

Don't even need to mention how useless Coutinho is. Obviously it feels easier to do this week because every man and his dog are taking hits.

The alternative is Migs & Coutinho > Mannone & Silva (-8).

I've watched every minute he's played for weeks now and have never seen a player so deceiving in terms of fantasy potential. Can't shoot, culminating in him falling flat on his face when he was played through late on against Spurs.

Yeah. I'm wondering if I should just act now, like Einstein apparently said, madness is doing the same thing repeatedly hoping for a different result. I've got to let go of him.

I guess it simply doesn't make sense to sell Coutinho, Migs or Clyne this week for hits. I've got a decent team this week, can act next week when Liverpool's fixture is shit.

Wally marginally for the crazy goal threat, but City are scoring a lot so Silva could go nuts in the hole

I don't think he'll play there...Negredo and Dzeko up top.

Well, he did play there after Aguero's injury and scored in that position hence my interest. Who knows what Pellegrini will do now - I hear he said he wants to continue playing the same style as before, whether that means two strikers up top is unclear to me. If it is, then I'll feel safer without Silva.

Oh no...he's still a great pick wherever he plays..and he hardly hugs the touch line when out wide anyway...Just saying I fancy he simply gave Negredo a rest the other night but things will revert back this weekend...or you might be right. who knows.

Yeah I was thinking of the second half against Arsenal - I'm sure the league cup game was just rotation, didn't expect Negredo to play. For me Silva is a good pick full stop with his general steady racking up of assists and semi regular goals, but the real clincher is how often he scores and that depends on how centrally he's played - he's become an even better option under Pellegrini.

Why not do cout > silva next week for free? Though cout is not clinical in front of goal, his eye for a pass is and this could be profitable home to Cardiff.
Will Chester go straight in your side? Again looked at in isolation a hit for a player like Chester seems ill advised

Yeah you're right I was really trying to find a way of getting Silva in and there isn't really an easy way. I couldn't get Silva for free due to budget.

I'll do it next week yeah, may downgrade Mignolet.
