Paddy Power Special – 5/1 Tasty Treble on Liverpool, City and United All To Win

Once again, Paddy Power have laid on another enhanced market for the upcoming round of matches. This time around, our bookmaker friends are dangling Tasty Treble odds of 5/1 for Liverpool, Man City and Man United all to win against Cardiff, Fulham and West Ham respectively this weekend.

When you consider that the regular odds on a treble for all three to win are just 11/8, this looks a standout deal for those yet to sign up with Paddy. If you don’t have an account and fancy a piece of the action, click here to join up and take advantage of the offer.

To clarify, the Tasty Treble enhanced odds specials are limited to a £10 stake, are open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Brilliant work, Clockwork. What are we doing now guys? Time to get Negredo & hoping for a blistering hatty?

Note: Negredo scored 4 goals in his last match for Sevilla 😐

The guy who said he was out for 4-6 weeks later posted on his twitter:
"A mea culpa for listeners: when I said Rooney's a doubt over Christmas, I meant "he'll probably be back for Hull." Easy to confuse the two.

      Got to be cautious.

Sounds like he confused him with RVP who was given that specific 4-6 week timescale.

Considering everything though, I don't think Rooney is essential enough anymore to warrant extreme patience - and the last few weeks have been pretty testing.

I haven't done any transfers this week, so I might get rid of Rooney if indeed he's out. I'm slightly tempted by Hooper, but that would make it 3 canaries in my team, and that would be taking the piss, as well as messing with my feng shui.

      I'll go with Negredo.

I haven't taken a hit so far this GW but I'm getting itchy fingers. Already brought in Negredo for Kun with my FT. Leaves me with a weak looking side for this GW, especially if Roon doesn't play.

    ..................Migs
    .....Terry / Shaw / Distin
    Haz / Pablo / Rambo / Whitts
    ..Suaz(c) / Negredo / Roon

    Bench: RavMo / Chester / Kosc(inj)
    0FT & 2.7 ITB

    Options are:
    A) no hit, leave as is
    B) Terry > Evans
    C) Kosc > Ward
    D) Kosc > Evans (will mean a further hit next week to get Wally for Pablo)

I'm taking a hit next week no matter what (to get Wally), so I should maybe do it now to give me a better team for this week?

All in all, if we take what seems to be the realistic scenario of Rooney missing this week but making Hull, I'm still tempted to sell. WHM is a great home game for United, Hull is an away game. In the last away game Rooney was used deeper, it worked very well, and it's plausible that could happen again. I don't feel like keeping through a blank GW for that. I could easily pick up Negredo instead.

I just need certainty Rooney won't play, something I will probably never get.

Yeah got a penalty against Everton. City aren't that great defensively, still a hard game to bet on attacking returns from. He is quite a talent, just have to see if he's ownable. Maybe when the fixtures clear up.

alright lads, used the 1ft (Aguero > Lukaku) but have a few issues

    Marshall (harper)
    Williamson,Ward,BTurner (Vlaar,Koscielny)
    Ozil,Ramsey,Cabaye,Lallana (Jedinak)
    Suarez (c),Rooney, Lukaku

    3.6m

Nervous about playing Turner/Marshall vs LIV and supposedly no Rooney.. don't think it's worth doing a -4 on Koscielny this GW.. can bench Rooney for the 2pt Jedinak though.. what would you guys consider?

If you look above i have a similar issue (a weak side for this GW, especially if Roon is out)

I'm considering Kosc out too. But not sure if his replacement will make it worth the hit when I do have players on the bench who will play and should at least get 2pts if called upon.

Looking at the fixtures, it's not a great GW for many. Not taking a hit could FT you up the rankings alone this GW.

I'm unsure what to do myself 😕

Apparently he is guaranteed to be 7.5 as he was that price on the player list at the start of the season and still has owners. Not seen confirmation of it yet though as he's not on the current player list (though this may well be because they don't want anyone buying him! - if someone finds a team with a player no longer on the list, this is evidence they remove players from the list).

All too confusing for me in terms of benching this week. Ravel Fonte Ivanovic on my bench.

These 3 lot can outscore my currently-on-starter Walker and Redmond easily.

Ravel have that scoring against your old club vibe.
While Redmond is my 3 week punt so I'd like to play him while I have him.

Fonte is back and Southampton is more than able to get a CS against attack-impotent Spurs.
But Walker may pops up an assist or goal against Southampton attacking fullbacks.

Best as in smartest move, shrewd piece of business or wild and outrageous?

I'd say Reus to United seems very strange, outrageous.

Liverpool's interest in Salah looks a tidy bit of business if it is true however. Far more realistic at least.

Liverpool have been holding decoy interest in Lee Cattermole to ward off Spurs this time. 😉

Even two players could provide the catalyst needed to spark Chelsea into top, top form.

    RMT GW17 (3-4-3):

    McGregor
    Chester, Coleman, Gabiddon
    Silva, Hazard, Ramsey, Shelvey
    Rooney, Lukaku, Suarez (C)

    Sub: Boruc, Willams, Terry, Brady

    1) Should play Terry instead of Chester? Or double up hull defences (Chester + McGregor)
    2) Should transfer Brady for ??? (-4)

it's the kind of game you can imagine terry scoring a header in.. but i usually imagine him scoring headers.
terry in front of williams for me at least
deal with brady next week.. but not too late, he'll probably drop again

Yeah I reckon he can score a winning goal from set pieces, Arsenal seems poor in defending set piece. But should I double up Hull defences (Chester + McGregor)? Because I reckon WB will score...

I'd narrow it to RavMo or Chester. Gabby is a decent shout at home.

      Chester it is for me

United's transfer targets have been bizarre, genuinely delusional. Fabregas (three bids!!) was the craziest of the lot. What would they dream of next? Cristiano Ronaldo?

    Oh wait.
