Monitor – Adebayor and Eriksen

As Tottenham’s momentum under Tim Sherwood continues to build, two of their first-team have emerged as leading contenders for our Fantasy attention. Since the departure of Andre Villas-Boas, Emmanuel Adebayor has played a part in six (three goals and three assists) of Spurs’ 11 goals over five matches, whilst Christian Eriksen has chipped in with three goals and an assist.

With 36 points apiece in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game, many wildcard drafts currently include one of the duo in light of Sherwood’s penchant for attacking football. Both are still very favourably priced, with Adebayor slightly more expensive at 7.8 to 7.3 and, as interest intensifies, we cast an eye over the pair’s recent displays and also compare them to other options in their respective classifications.

  i like the one on the left but i would downgrade ki to 4.2 mid (probs lucas whos playing abit more advanced now) and downgrade mcgregor to davis play boruc every week and then upgrade gerrard to ozil. Alternatively u could downgrade kolarov to budget defender. Coleman and koscielny with 3 budgets to rotate every week is strong enough defence imo.

    Kun is going on a price run, regardless of his game time vs Cardiff. No point risking missing him later.
    
    That said, the spurs duo will almost certainly come up with something vs Swansea...

      Lallana out of those two. He is more of an attacking mid. Cabaye also does his fair share of attacking, but in my mind, isn't as dangerous in the long run.

        Cabaye on all set p's, playing in the 10 slot most of the time now and has the fixtures to back it up, When has Llanna consistently delivered points? He's a bit of a Modric as far as I'm concerned

        OK. Not a bad argument at all. Guess in the long run, both are good to have. I just know I've watched my ML leader have great success with Lallana this year, and it seems every time I turn my back, he's getting some kind of results. I see him almost as a forward more than a mid.

I really didn't want to move Adebayor; as the potential is huge. I had to do it to get Aguero back into the lineup. This is my team for the week:

Mannone
Distin, Koscielny, Terry
Hazard, Yaya, Ozil, Ki
Aguero, Suarez, Rodriguez

Bench: (Marshall) (Mutch, Chester, Parr)

Transfers:
Silva, Adebayor -> Aguero, Ki

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

    Completely based off fixtures. I hope this double up works; but the way I see it with these bad teams facing each other: It's high scoring or low scoring. ;P

        I had a brain fart and thought I'd be able to make a WC team without Aguero. I literally thought a dispersed attack would gain me more points in the long run.
        
        Now I either came to my senses; or ran out of guts.
        
        I was actually progressing better before I found this site. Now I second guess everything and make the "right decisions"; yet some of the most mindless players in my ML gain points out of the most silly moves.
