Monitor – Adebayor and Eriksen

As Tottenham’s momentum under Tim Sherwood continues to build, two of their first-team have emerged as leading contenders for our Fantasy attention. Since the departure of Andre Villas-Boas, Emmanuel Adebayor has played a part in six (three goals and three assists) of Spurs’ 11 goals over five matches, whilst Christian Eriksen has chipped in with three goals and an assist.

With 36 points apiece in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game, many wildcard drafts currently include one of the duo in light of Sherwood’s penchant for attacking football. Both are still very favourably priced, with Adebayor slightly more expensive at 7.8 to 7.3 and, as interest intensifies, we cast an eye over the pair’s recent displays and also compare them to other options in their respective classifications.

    I know what you mean, I plan a window in my day each Friday between working and looking after my 18month old. Left a void all though on the positive side my baby woke up early all grumpy anyway so would have had to stop half way through so that's all right then, other than the grumpy baby bit

What a pity we won't get to see where Cortese would have taken the Saints in the next few years. He has already been one of the finest club architects the english leagues has ever seen and now the fate of the club is in the hands of an heiress who knows nothing about the club and could care less. Feel bad for Saints fans out there but it looks likes the rollercoaster is going around again.

Dear all owners of premier league teams except Vincent Tan,
First off may I say good luck to you all in 2014 but now that I have started this off on a positive note there is something that I request from you. You see, I have taken up an obsession with Fantasy Premier League and I believe I am doing quite well this season. Due to the return of Mr. Sergio Kun Aguero to Manchester City (thank you all the devoted MCFC trainers that have worked to get Aguero healthy and back into my FPL team) I along with many others in the Fantasy Football Scout community have made the decision to activate their January wildcard to accomodate the Argentine as well as to strengthen their squad. I personally feel very confident in the abilities of my fifteen man team going forward and as do many others on FFS so here is the point of this letter to you; please for the love of god do not buy any potentially good fantasy players. Jose Mourinho - I understand that Chelsea needs that quality front man that can finally bash in some goals but while maybe bringing in a striker like Radamel Falcao or Diego Costa will drastically increase your title chances, it will in turn deteriorate the quality of my squad. Arsene Wenger - Pretty please with cherry on top do not sign Julian Draxler! I understand that with Theo gone and Giroud being his usual donkey self you fell that is necessary to find someone to fill the void that Wally has left for you but really all he will create is trouble in my FPL side. If you do manage to sign him in January he will likely not come into the FPL transfer market as very cheap and he will create all sorts of rotation nightmares for fellow FFS members (see Cazorla,Santi and Wilshire,Jack) as they struggle to bring him in by downgrading their left leg to an unplaying mid at 4.1 million. And as for the rest of you - by no means are you exempt, I beg of you that you refrain from buying quality players as I don't think I could resist Mata at ManU, Xabi Alonso back in the prem, etc. In conclusion, I know all of you owners have the best of intentions for your club when you attempt to buy a worldclass player but I think I can speak for all of the dedicated fantasy managers that have and will play their wildcards this January; We like our teams, dont make us change them.

  Assume this was for my post on silva? Dunno how you can be when Pel said he was a doubt. There is no reason to make up an injury for a player most would expect you to rest in cup games anyways. Why wouldn't he just rest him and say nothing or say he needed a rest??? Why say he was injured? I'm not saying he defo out but just assuming this was some 'CUP INJURY' seems strange to me

Chasing value on a w/c is overrated eapecially during the jan window. They increased the NTI required to rise to almost 60k which means you get very few double risers 🙁 Prob not even gonna gain 0.1 this week unless Lallana or Jan go up tomorrow.

  Very similar to mine, so I have to like it.
  I like the defence a lot. I can't quite bring myself to cash in on Coleman, but if I could, the defence would look a lot like that. Right now I have Coleman, Kosc, Kolarov, Ward and Chester. But yours looks much better.

    So I went back in and tried to hit "make transfers' button but cant click it as I have no changes.
    
    So I swap Whitt to Chambers and it says -4 in red, I then hit play WC and it will go through but will it then not deduct the -28 at the end of gameweek?
