As Tottenham’s momentum under Tim Sherwood continues to build, two of their first-team have emerged as leading contenders for our Fantasy attention. Since the departure of Andre Villas-Boas, Emmanuel Adebayor has played a part in six (three goals and three assists) of Spurs’ 11 goals over five matches, whilst Christian Eriksen has chipped in with three goals and an assist.

With 36 points apiece in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game, many wildcard drafts currently include one of the duo in light of Sherwood’s penchant for attacking football. Both are still very favourably priced, with Adebayor slightly more expensive at 7.8 to 7.3 and, as interest intensifies, we cast an eye over the pair’s recent displays and also compare them to other options in their respective classifications.

      He was tactically taken off midweek so I think Pelle is planning to start Negredo. The question is more whether Aguero or Dzeko is starting alongside.

        The disadvantage of that format is it does not show the order of your subs. Other wise it is pretty much what I do.

      Agree. I think he would fit in with the clubs philosophy. Southampton have been great picking up talented youngsters, and Liverpool have been trying to do the same.

        Besides getting deals done for players the manager wants (both in terms of getting funds approved by the board and negotiating with other clubs) it really does not matter who is the chairman. They're business-people not football people.

    If Lukaku only drops by one and Aguero only rises by one, I can still next GW afford this WC team:

    Boruc - Mannone
    Coleman - Ward - Sagna - Zaba - Chester
    Puncheon - Özil - Silva - Pozuela - Hazard
    Suarez - Aguero - Giroud

    Now I could have that for sure. Should I? And should I have Wilshere instead of Özil or Kolarov instead of Zabaleta to afford upgrading Chester and Ward after few rounds, and possibly (if Öz -> Wilshere) Giroud to Sturridge. Puncheon going to change too when his fixtures turn bad.

        Goalies - amazing but way too much money spent. Would downgrade one.
        Defenders - Four good players and one bench fodder. Will you play 433 a lot?
        Mids - Not sold on Gnabry, like Januzaj as a fifth mid.
        Strikers - Fine, seems popular here, just not for me.

      Biggest dilemma of them all.

      Keep Dzeko or change him to Aguero now? Currently 5.3M in bank which means I can not afford this transfer next GW after Aguero has rised more than once. -->Wildcard to be used at GW23.
