    Thoughts on City

Yaya and Silva - Might not play both games in DGW

City defence - not exactly reliable right now

I think Yaya and Aguero might be enough, hard to justify a City defender over Kos or a United defender

I will vent here as it is "safe"....

Referee's - what posses a man to take the whistle at such a young age? At local league the standard is so poor you would not believe, yet in the "pyramid" the standard improves, yet these people, have rarely ever played the game at any level and simply do it for the tax free money paid by the Home team and not the FA's.

The Pyramid is a decent standard yet much off these officials are so bad, it simply causes real issues for Clubs as you cant talk to them, they throw cards around to show their strength and power, then simply make outrageous decisions with no recourse as protected by the respective FA's (due to shortage) and simply take their "tax free wage" it has been suggested that many are easily influenced and encouraged to throw cards out by the FA's!

I personally witness this weekly and these a-holes have no clue about the game, or people skills and are turning players away from the game!

These officials then feed into the next tier of football, not the better ones, simply those which would be willing to do extra travelling and earn a few extra £s.

    Do they improve - NO
Do they get extra training - NO

Those which we see in the EPL are the Elite that have "served" their time and are the best of breed, however they come from the very structure I have outlined.

You cannot grow up wanting a career as a Referee or even more ridiculous would be wanting to grow up and be a Referee's Assistant (think about it for a minute). There are so called "professionals" who run sideways up and down half a pitch a raises a flag - this is their job???

Whilst players, managers, coaches and all others in football train daily to improve themselves, are accountable for the actions, must answer to the press & public for those in the elite category of the profession, however for the Referee "in charge" of elite players the only real change to that when he undertook local parks is that he know pays tax!

Football is the biggest in the World and worth trillions, yet most other professions have officials miked up, and technology to support them and as a result would suggest more professionalism, consistency and accuracy with decisions, whilst explanations reduce the farce we experience each game.

Due to lack of numbers at a parks level - the FA's protect these wannabee's who love the power trip and the easy £s and this is still allowed to continue at the highest level.

Whilst all do not agree with Jose (and many others) - he has a valid point as too often the ref's are winning & losing games for Clubs.

It is - but at a pro level isn't there tools available to improve performance? Better use of a 4th official to confirm decisions??

Pro ref still the same as a parks ref - but only in football.

When it comes to big decisions like penalties and offsides which lead to a goal they really should have an option to check a video replay like they do in Rugby. They waste loads of time consulting with another referee when that same time could be used to make the correct call with the benefit of a replay. I partly blame football fans for not wanting to part with their 'flowing football'.

Only seems the way it does from the outside because of Sherwood's recent contraversial management style. Knows he's gone come the end of the season, so he probably doesn't give a shite.

      Mannone
Ward Chester Baines | Azpi Mariappa
      Lallana Mata Silva Nasri
      Aguero Rooney Suarez

      Doing Lukaku>Rooney and Coleman>Mariappa probably

I do normally, he plays the same way every year, just tries to make his team like the person closest to him below (last year he was nowhere) but I'm having a bad season (worst in 4 years) he's having his best ever as the casual picks keep delivering.

This is a guy who did -12 the GW after wc, then -8 the week after to swap them back, and went -4 this week to buy and sell Silva, yet I'm barely beating him, tells you how bad it is atm.

I try to get in their heads also by picking fault with their good transfers to get them to sell them, or dropping hints about crap players
Loved it when one had front line of Campbell, saurez, jelavic couple weeks ago

he tries all sorts with me, hasn't worked out it doesn't work yet. he won't fall for that sort of stuff, but what he will fall for is false info on picks, so I recommend players to people knowing he'll over-hear them and buy, then quietly tell the other person not to get them.

Negredo for GW31 was a good one
