The league’s top two dominate the upper echelons of this week’s Captain Poll as Man City and Liverpool prepare for very favourable home games against West Ham and Newcastle respectively. With both sides set to go on the attack, Luis Suarez, Edin Dzeko, Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero are joined by Chelsea’s Eden Hazard ahead of a trip to relegated Cardiff:

      That's a tricky one. I'm thinking of playing both and benching Nasri (hoping he will come in if one of them misses out altogether). I think you're right to start Sterling though. God knows which to bench, maybe toss a coin. That's what I'm doing if I decide to play Nasri!

I'm chasing ML leader by 34 points (big ask) he won't have Aguero Yaya Sturridge so with that in mind:

Rooney + Puncheon > Sturridge + Sterling -4 sounds about right?

Gives me Aguero Yaya Zaba Suarez Studge Sterling

        He's a liverpool fan so i'd imagine he will go for suarez, he has silva and very unlikely to get yaya in so my thinking is Yaya as he will play more minutes than Aguero and is not Suarez..... you?

        I do have a few differentials to him (Aguero, Nasri) but maybe not enough to captain Suarez.

  He always got injured and then had his flag removed just as he was about to drop, hence price protection kicked in and all the sales were nullified. Happened a ridiculous number of times.

after gruelling 37 gws...i have a 10 point lead over my ML rival BUT my team is fecked for this gw so not sure whether to take hits or not...

  I'd say Giroud the best choice striker from those given the fixture and his recent form. I'd be tempted by option B, but your call on whether you can swallow an 8 point hit for C. Good luck man. I'm gonna try getting in Hazard for Mata. An unreliable starter under Giggs unbelievably!

  have the same problem. basically I'm keeping ramsey as I'm sure that he'll get some playing time and it's a match with goals in it.
  
  So the decision becomes mata or hazard(-4). and I don't know.
  1) I have no idea how much playing time, if any, they will get.
  2) hazard has the better game, but is it worth -4
  
  I'm slightly on the side of keeping mata, but it a boring choice.
  
  So, A if you're anodyne, B if you're ballsy

What if City are up at half time by 2 goals. Do you think that Liverpool give up because of the let down of not finishing 1st? The wind might be taken from their sails prematurely when it seems as though all hope is lost. Do you figure that they might lay down for the second half and concede that the title is lost?

Alternatively, if they had a 1 goal lead and City were in a close battle with WHM. Do you figure Liverpool to "park the bus" for the final 30 mins and stop attacking.

Is this a reason not to (C) Suarez? or not to transfer in Sturridge?

  Good points, it's hard to say what would happen. To add to your concerns though, the point has been made that Newcastle are harder to break down - interestingly - with Remy in the team.

      I think Adebeyor is pretty rubbish tbh, and I don't think Tottenham are going to go out with much of a bang. They seem to have lost interest. I think Suarez will want to get the record number of goals so will be trying to score regardless.
