        3 goals = 15
        2 assists = 6
        2 x 3BPS = 6
        2 x mins played = 4

        I think...

My big decision of the week is who to drop for Sterling?

    A) Ramsey
    B) Sanchez

Don't really want to drop either of them, but Sterling is looking almost essential.

Expect most will say B), but Sanchez plays in a more advanced role, is on most set pieces (including possible pens) and may even get the odd game up front

The money does come in handy, but I just have this feelings Sanchez is gonna rip it up.

Is there an argument to either:

        C) ditch Hazard instead, or
        D) not get Sterling

        1. the cromulent one
          • 11 Years

D is a non-starter for the reasons you mentioned above.
C is interesting... depends on whether you have Costa (and whether you believe he'll stay healthy).

I had a simlar question on the last page (ship Silva or Ramsey for Sterling).
Comes down to whether we have the courage no lose Ramsey given his ownership. In your case, id lose Sanchez. The extra funds would give you a lot of flexibility.

Also that defense is too expensive
      Janmat to Colo
      Rojo to a 4.5 like PVA/Taylor
      Lamella right down to 4.5

Should leave exactly enough for Wiemann to Costa

I have one FT and I think my team suddenly looks in a bad shape with Jones, Debuchy, Mata.
    Currently on
    Krul Foster
    Cahill Debuchy Jones Moore Bruce
    Mata Ramsey Sterling Siggy Marney
    Costa Rooney Naismith

I think i will wait to see how serious is Jones injury and then maybe shift Mata to Fab or Rooney to Augero??

hi all - what are your thoughts on using my WC this week? I think the new team would be stronger going forward...

    Currently (w/.7 in the bank):
    De Gea / Krul
Wisdom – Cahill – Debuchy (Bruce – Dummet)
Siggy – Sterling – Mata – Hazard (Ince)
    Costa – Rooney – Naismith

Potential change/use WC to change to (w/ .5 in the bank remaining):
    Krul / Mannone
Hutton – Clyne – Ivanovic (Bruce – Wisdom)
Sterling – Ramsey – Siggy – Hazard (Albrighton)
    Costa – Rooney – Welbeck

    cheers!

That WC team quite possibly will have a non playing bench this week. All your expensive players are the same in both of those teams so no need to wildcard, maybe upgrade Bruce to a 4.5m defender if you havent used your free.

      1. Tim Sherwood
        • 9 Years
        9 years, 8 months ago

thanks - unfortunately I've already used my FT. I just feel like Ivanovic > Cahill, Ramsey > Mata, and Welbeck > Naismith going forward and this would give me a deeper squad at the same time. first year playing this though, so I might be too eager to burn that WC early haha

      Like the WC team.

Would make Bruce into NTaylor/PVA with the extra .5
      Maybe Mannone to a 4.0. Extra .5 for Hutton/Wisdom to NTaylor/PVA or Albrighton to a 5.0

Think some will say Hazard to Fab but imo Haz is a good shout

good points - I suppose Bruce isn't really playing/is injured. do you feel clyne and hutton are pretty much penciled in going forward (as well as taylor & PVA then)? thanks man

Options for this week - still none the wiser....

    A) Sanchez & Bony -> Sterling & Costa (4 points)
    B) Ramsey/Sanchez, Jovetic & Bony -> Sterling, Costa & Welbeck (8 points)

Been on A) all week but the Jovetic injury is swaying me to B) possibly with Ramsey...

    Krul, Elliot
    Terry, Clyne, Chambers, Wisdom, Hutton
    Sanchez, Hazard, Ramsey, Siggy, Albrighton
    Rooney, Bony, Jovetic

Game has 0-0 written all over it. Both teams will be desperate to tighten up their defence after gw3 failures.

That was my concern but was a comment from pochi that only reason he was rested at start of season was exploits at the world cup and that would tie in with his game time in the first 3 weeks 0, 68, 90 but still struggling to convince myself with the likes of lennon and townsend on the bench

    Guys,

I made transfers earlier in the week, using my 2 FT, and taking an 8 point hit on top (made 4 transfers obviously) - if I were required to wildcard now, will that -8 point hit still stand, or does it negate with the wildcard use?

      it negates

        Thanks mate, cheers!

With this being the case, can you see any glaring issues with my squad for this week, pending press conferences?

        De Gea / (Gilks)
        Clyne / Debuchy / Pieters / (O'Shea) / (Caulker)
        Sterling / Siggy / Fabregas / Schneiderlin / Ramsey
        Costa / Rooney / (Naismith)

Obviously another transfer would take me to -12 points for the week, so if there is anything to change, would wildcard best my best option or save still?

        Thoughts?

By it negates you did realise i meant you get the points back so could defo WC if you wanted.

Only slight concern is schneiderlin plays too deep i know he scored well so far will not keep it up, play naismith over him and switch him for some bench fodder, albrighton at 4.5 would be nice frees up an extra mil, not worth.

Personally think the 8 point hit is sufficient

            • 9 Years

Yes, what I meant was that if I play one transfer extra, it will take me to the -12 obviously, unless I wildcard, where I will not lose points for this week after your confirmation.

Thinking Naimisth to start also would be better, and Schneiderlin first sub.

Would playing my wildcard just to get bench fodder in for Schneiderlin really be worth it?

Hutton has a nightmare run coming up. Chambers I’m sure you know will struggle for game time. As feisty Leicester seem Moore has 2pts from 3 games. Caulker is oddly priced since his drop but may be worth keeping. Clyne is a keeper. Keep Caulker and Clyne! Hutton change to Wisdom and Moore to Duff. Burnley look stingy. As for Chambers plenty of 4.5ers to pick from.

    Hi all!

Please RMT (Used my 2FT an took a 4pts hit):

    De Gea (Gilks)
    Ivanovic Clyne Moreno (Wisdom Bruce)
    Hazard Sterling Ramsey Siggy (Elmohamadi)
    Costa Rooney Naismisth

I am not happy to have Bruce and Elmo... but planning to wait to make transfer and didn't want to WC.

With Hazard and Costa yellow flagged too, I am not so confident. Even if I think they'll start
