I like Silva. Yes, he can be frustrating FPL wise but being City's main creator if they continue to score goals he'll match Fabregas' output IMO.

Silva got his first returns since GW1 yesterday. For that price I would hope for more consistent assists or more goals. He is unlikely to get a good share of baps in a team with diluted points.Cheers, GB.
Good point you made about the baps as well. I'm a bit surprised you said Ozil, Tadic is another one I think you missed out onOzil played very well yesterday, despite not registering points. His quality was never in doubt, his problem seemed psychological. He seems to be getting over that.

Coverage is not really a myth. It's just that people use it too much around these parts which makes us feel silly. If a team scores 100 goals per season then their main creator will have his share of assists. Silva plays for defending Champions who score lot of goals. If Aguero, Dzeko/Jovetic can finish then Silva will have around 15 assists this season, provided he stays fit.
What you're saying is true, except that's nothing to do with coverage, but more to do with Silva being a good option on an individual basis.
Coverage can misguide you to pick a player with a small share of a high scoring team.
Looking at individual players takes into account the team they play for in a way, but it also allows you to comfortably go without a player from a good team in exchange for a higher scoring player from a smaller team.If that's what you think then in this case Silva shouldn't be considered as coverage IMO. Agree with Billy's comment above.
