Granville’s lackadaisical approach to the new campaign might just explain why he’s treading water. Missing deadlines and price rises, my ScoutCast co-host badly needs to introduce some organisation into his season if he’s to keep pace – the man needs a PA – get your applications in.

With Granville floundering, I’ve decided to lay down my Wildcard to potential rub further salt into his wounds. Is it a chronic case of “jerky knee”? Granville certainly thinks (hopes) so.

We chat over my Wildcard revolution, analyse how the heavy-hitting midfielders are failing to pull their weight and rinse through the usual regulars in the same disorganised fashion.

          Well, I have been working on them for two weeks, and I can't find a decent 4.5 option.

          So I have gone Begovic and Fabianski. That allows me to utilise the other tasty Southampton assets.

          Personally, I do not like Fabregas. I do like Agüero, but wonder whether better value may be found.

            Appreciate the reply, I have my doubts on Fabregas as well - I think his returns will be like Ozil's in a lot of ways, but having said that, Chelsea are dominating this season so far, thanks again

        Rubbish. I captained him 2 weeks ago. Paid off.
        Usually there is a more consistent performer to captain but on a week when your big hitters have a tough fixture you can take a punt on Baines(c)

      Kun for me out of the two. I guess you need to take a view of the score. If you feel there are going to be goals, then perhaps Costa.

          He knows better than to try and park it against Arsenal...suicide, unless it is the final 15 minutes.

          That being said, Arsenal are a confidence team and I think Wenger got the picture and will play Cazorla at CM and Ox out wide...Cazorla and Ozil,

          As much as it pains me to say the casuals might piss people off with that popular brainless budgetary/convenience move of Ramsey to Ozil.

                Aguero has too many pipedream aspects and negative actuary elements to his overall fitness and game time. Even if he gets a goal, he´s pulled between the 68-70th for precaution.

            Strikers don´t seem to get a good look, will watch this week especially as Rooney seems to slow the team and ball down. Falcao is successful anywhere the players actually look to aggressively get him the ball. I don´t see that here outside of ADM Herrera chucking long ones to him.

      I know history is nothing to go by, but Arsene Wenger will play the exact same way as he did last year, Jose Mourinho will be licking his lips tactically and we pummeled the 6 love last year without a beast of a striker like Costa...Costa all the way 🙂

      He doesn't. He prefers to operate centrally. Plays all over during the games though. More left than right though.
