This week’s attempt to get the better of Paddy sees us call upon the services of West Brom’s young goal hero, while we also turn to the Tottenham and Everton midfields ahead of clashes with Newcastle and Burnley respectively.

West Brom’s home encounter with Crystal Palace brings Saido Berahino into our thoughts this week. The youngster’s goal against Man United last Monday took his tally to five strikes in four appearances at The Hawthorns this season, and with the Eagles set to be without both their first-choice centre-halves this weekend, he looks poised to get amongst the goals once again. Paddy are offering a hefty 18/1 on Berahino to score twice and the Baggies to keep out their opponents and we’re willing to shell out £3 for this one.

Next up, we head to the Lane, where Tottenham prepare to take on Newcastle. We’re backing the in-form Christian Eriksen as Spurs look to recover from their Etihad mauling – the Dane has scored three times in the last five, and with Paddy prepared to offer 8/1 on Eriksen to score and the hosts to chalk up a clean sheet, we’re making this our bet of the week and hand over £4.

Finally, we place our faith in fit-again Ross Barkley as Everton roll up to Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon. As the treatment room empties, the Toffees are starting to find their domestic form and face a Clarets side that have leaked nine goals in their last three. Paddy are offering 8/1 on Barkley to score and an Everton clean sheet and we’re convinced enough to part company with our final £3.

    So Costa dropped 0.3 already and looks set to drop further to 10.8 tonight. If he doesn't start today, more sale on the way and may drop to 10.7.10.6 in next 2-3 days which almost to his initial levels and making him affordable again for QPR (perfectly suited for players who plan for only 1-2 weeks)...........All this when the transfer out is only about 8-9% this week.

    So, has FPL messed up price change system this year? or have made it intentionally this way to encourage more casual/ short term players?

    Had Wellbeck as captain. Switched this morning to Aguero. I'm now worried if I've done the right thing. On top of this my 7 year old has become obsessed with FPL and is actually doing really well and thinks he can beat me. This can't happen. Mourinho has got it easy.

      Leicester have only scored once AWAY this season, Cisse is back for Newcastle but now a doubt.
