Are Chelsea playing midweek? Deciding on if I should wait before bringing Hazard in. Sterling is messing things up though.

    Which transfer is better?

    Siggy ---> Chadli
Sterling and Cahill ----> Sanchez and Chambers (-4)

Cahill has QPR at home which is putting me off getting rid of him.

I guess Eriksen doesn't take the PKs for Tottenham lol you can't have both from one game. Eriksen assist to Lamela tomorrow is what will probably occur. Or maybe Kane will get a start after his hat trick in europa league and will bag one tomorrow. Just a prediction or two

If Costa blanks then switch to Aguero - if only for the TV gains

      If not maybe...
Welbeck - Sakho (assuming he's OK)
      Sterling - Sanchez

Weeee just got in.. went to Liverpool v Hull today. Not checked the fantasy until now.

15 points. 6 to play. Any good? I'm guessing because my weekly rank is outside 2 million and I have a red arrow then probably not. But captain hazard can turn that around surely.

      Team:
      Guzan Myhill
      Moreno Baines Clyne Moore Vlaar
      ADM Fab Siggy Henderson Siggy
      Costa Pelle Welbeck

      0 ITB

Looking at fixing my midfield this week, however with Guzan coming up against Tottenham next week is a transfer getting a Myhill replacement worth it?

In defence the only possible change I would contemplate is Moreno > Chambers howver given liverpool CS against Hill Im thinking of keeping this week.

I am happy with my strikers.

In midfield I have found lots of ideas. For a midfield replacements here are some options.

      A. Siggy > Moses/Downing/Diame/Puncheon/Chadli/Jedinak
      B. Siggy, Henderson > Tadic/Eriksen and Boyd -4
      C. Siggy, Henderson > 2 of Moses/Downing/Diame/Puncheon/Chadli/Jedinak -4
      D. Siggy, Sterling > Jedinak and Sanchez/Hazard -4
      E. Siggy, ADM > Sanchez/Hazard and Moses/Downing/Diame/Puncheon/Jedinak -4
      F. Henderson, ADM > Sanchez/Hazard and Moses/Downing/Diame/Jedinak -4
      G. Henderson, Sterling > Sanchez/Hazard and Boyd -4
      H. Henderson > Moses/Downing/Diame/Puncheon/Jedinak

        The Theo Time Theory

OK guys, just thought that I would throw out there my thoughts about his subsequent game time over the next few weeks.
Named on the bench Yesterday, after completing 60 odd minutes of an under 21 fixture the previous week, he was an unused substitute.
Next up for Arsenal is Burnley at home. Tbh, I think most of us expect a fairly routine Gunners victory. I expect Theo will get around 10 minutes to ease him back into the team.
The following weekend I really expect him to be on the bench again, maybe with a 20+ minute run out against Swansea.
The main reason I feel that this is very likely is simply because we have an international break following those fixtures.
I really cannot see Arsene starting Theo in either match and risk him being picked for international duty. With the above scenario he can 100% rule out a call up before letting him loose on a porous Man Utd defense after the international matches.
        What do you think folk?

I made the mistake last season and waited for Theo to get fit. I refused to bring in Ramsey as i was saving that midfield spot for him. It ruined my season! In this case, the decision is much different, as Alexis' price is higher than Theo's, and would be a easy swap to free up cash.

Get in Sanchez now and wait for Theo to get fit and show some form!

Season after season he has been amongst the top players points wise. is on pens and free kicks and pretty much plays like a winger at times. Plus Everton have been improving as a team in recent years. He is worth his price tag, plus he is fourth in the defenders ranking with only two cleanies.....

How can you say that?? He will be in the top 4/5 defenders at the end of the season. Everton have been poor and leaky at the back, esp compared to last season, and he is still 4th. And he missed a peno as well.

haha its more of creating the dilemma of having to keep costa or not..him being fit will also stop potential price drops too.

1st sub is wisdom(1pt) so does not really matter even if i got a cameo from costa.

Spurs are so unpredictable. You would think that they would run over Newcastle at home but who knows really, they are so on and off. Honestly don't think the Chelsea stars will shine tomorrow. Man U defense will benefit because they are at home. I would not be surprised at all if Man U wins or ties. Players get up for these kind of games. Plus Chelsea are due for a loss. Don't believe me? I work in the field of biostatistis/biometrics. Every championship teams endures 5 to 6 losses a year with almost all being away from home. So if you consider the 38 gameweeks, that is roughly 1 loss every 6 weeks. We are currently in week 9. Therefore, Chelsea are due for a loss and it might be tomorrow, especially if Costa is ruled out. Crazy thoughts or genius? What do you think?

So what you are saying is: Because they have won so many games (and have shown to be the best team in the league) they are more likely lose their next game?

i can't see the logic in that

                  "due" doesn't exist

I'm not saying they are not the best team in the league. I think its their year and if they don't win it will a huge disappointment on their part. Do they have the ability to run over everybody this year? Absolutely. But they are bound to slip somewhere. Staying undefeated is extremely rare. Just look at the history of past champions. 95% lost 5-6 games a season. That is why I think Chelsea are due. Don't have to agree, its hard to see it happen unless it happens. We'll see tomorrow.

If I told you yesterday that City would lose to West Ham and Aguero would blank then I'd prob get the same response. I didn't jump on Aguero for the same reason. It was virtually impossible for him to even come close to duplicating his performance vs Spurs.

The "due" part doesn't make mathematical sense. Yea, they'll likely have 5-6 losses over the season, but not having one in 9 games doesn't increase the probability of one in the next. The outcomes of successive games are *relatively* independent.

You could even argue the opposite, that 9 games undefeated increases the chance of a win next game, since its an indicator of form.

Yeah I see where you are coming from on the form part. There are many ways to look at it. I just think Chelsea might slip a game or two this year away from home. Can't see them losing, say 2 games in a row, unless a string of injuries occur. Look at their upcoming fixtures. @ManU > QPR > @Liverpool > WBrom > @SUN > TOT. If they are going to slip anywhere in these next few weeks, it certainly could be tomorrow.

Yup, all of that makes sense, and I think it's possible they'll slip up tomorrow.

I was purely arguing against the "due" part.

It's similar to what lots of people on here are looking at. Myself included. Can't see Sanchez being gifted two chances like that in a game again, though. Still you'd expect him to get something from Burnley

Yeah like him, if WSW can start knocking some in feel he should be up there as one of the top scorers. GWs 5-10 look great for WSW too. Think he could be a great option for Villa out. Is it confirmed which GW Villa will be gone from now?

                  A. You are taking a hit but Sanchez vs Burnley could make that go away. Plus you can also benefit from the inevitable price rises of Sakho and Sanchez this week. C won't do much for you Im afraid unless Cameron can score against West Ham! =)

                    Thanks, mate.

I'm a bit hesitant with that one considering Welbeck is against Burnley, too. And having took a hit this week, not something I necessarily want to do again. Food for thought, though.

No problem. Also since Welbeck just rose tonight you may sell at him profit as well depending on how much you paid for him.

You have a good goalkeeper, two very good defenders and decent others, very good mids and forwards as well

Di Maria to Hazard for GW 10 for QPR but swapping back after one week and losing 0.3 in the bank.

                Worth it or no?

Depends if you intend to keep AdM for the season. Game is about points & if Hazard covers 2 FTs etc then why not.

Yeah I do want Di Maria long term but for GW10 Hazard at home to QPR could do more damage I feel. Only thing holding me back is having 0 in the bank after swapping back to AdM
