Would appreciate some advice, was thinking of bringing in Hazard for Sig or Downing, but am open to any suggestion (a hit? WC??)

    Krul, Myhill
    Clyne, Jagielka, Dummett, Bruce, Duff
    Tadic, Sterling, Downing, Siggy, Poyet
    Aguero, Pelle, Falcao

1 FT, 5.4mil ITB, WC available

Keep your WC until after GW 30 for a juicy double game week if you have gotten this far already.

You will get one WC that must be used during the January transfer window, and then you'll have the other to lurch ahead late in the season.

      Downing to Haz looks great.

Siggy is now healthy for this week and has great fixtures 29 Nov to 10 Jan - would keep him.

I would keep downing.. nice fixtures coming up and WHM are looking good...

personally I would just ditch falco but don't like GK's and dummett, bruce are poor... also poyet???

perhaps a WC is necessary as I see flaws everywhere

Yeah, the keepers and defence have barely been touched since the season started, and poyet's just my bench fodder. Been planning to upgrade the defence, but other things keep popping up.

I'd like to dump Falcao, but if Costa isn't fit, who would you trade him for?

Definitely don't want double Spurs attack at the moment - they look average at best. Oscar could be a good shout, but would mean triple CHE attack and no ARS attack. Eggs in one basket etc.

Not happy with my midfield this GW, but potential replacements Hazard/Fabregas/Sanchez will require hits and loosing Sterling, AdM or Costa:

    Begovic - Gilks
    Baines - Clyne - Chambers - Hutton - Duff
    AdM - Sterling - Siggy - Downing - Marney
    Costa - Pelle - Aguero

Any ideas what to do with this lot - is it worth shipping Sterling or Costa for a hit to get Hazard, Fabregas or Sanchez. Hit would involve either Begovic -> Foster (if Sterling) or Costa -> Sakho. Or better just stick with this midfield, and hope AdM and Sterling get some returns over next GW's ?

Mourinho has history for telling his players to get yellow cards to miss easy games.

Let's see when Fabregas gets his fifth yellow. My bet is before a cup match, although I'm switching for Hazard on my wildcard so hopefully my cynicism is wrong!

Sorry for late reply. he told two of his real Madrid players to waste time and get a yellow so they'd be suspended for an easy game (champions league). It was investigated and they got further punishment!

          that's the decision

it isn't like Silva's history is injury-free either

I'd do it, but I like to gamble a little in my draft leagues (I always draft injured/suspended players, etc.)

look for me at the start of next year...

I'm expanding my draft league to at least 3 tiered divisions of 20 teams each... draft is during 2nd int'l break

Caulker is probably the most predictable fpl defender in the game right now.. Tough game.. bench him as your last sub. home game play him and he'll match a premium defender.. uptil now
    Tough games:
tot mun sot whu LIV - all tough opponents attackingwise and any team would do well to keep em out.. total points: 1 Point!!!

    Easier games:
    HULL SUN STK AVL
    Total points: 23 ... almost 6 ppg

In 3 weeks time he's schedule until January turns to
LEI swa BUR eve WBA ars CPL SWA

Bench him 3 times and play him 5 times and probably get a hatful of points. Caulker time is nearly upon us(and exactly when Clyne's schedule turns sour 😉 )

Was gonna swap him out this week but i'm just gonna bench him and wait 🙂 .. Terry can leave. played him every week and he's just 2 points ahead of Caulker 🙄

I've had him the whole time as well (annoyingly benched him this week for wisdom) and been looking to get rid of him for weeks but I've always had more pressing issues, reading your post makes me think I may as well keep. Thanks!

I watched QPR the last 2 games and they have been improving.. defense looks very sound. They were good vs Pool too until madness ensued at the end 🙂 .. they've kept 2 CS's in 5 home games and played probably the toughest teams away apart from City and Chelsea

Yep I'm keeping unless I somehow end desperately needing extra funds.
He will probably drop one more time before those fixtures, then one double digit and we get at least that 0.1 back.
Not greatest business, but never seem to have transfers for defenders.

    Hi All,

Can you recommend any changes to this lot?

    Beg
    Bertrand, Baines, Chambers
    ADM, Haz, Siggy, Sterling
    Aguero, Pelle, Ulloa

    McCarthy, Wilson, Cork, Duff

    1FT and 1.2ITB

Haz has been underperforming but does play QPR this weekend. I would like Sanchez but that would probably be at his expense.
Ulloa is another possible trade, but they have West Brom so don't see the point in trading to Berahino.

    Thoughts? Thanks

I have two ideas at the moment, and would appreciate any feedback.

Sterling and Welbeck to Sanchez and Berahino. Or Sterling and Clyne to Sanchez and a 4.2 defender (eg Hutton or Duff). Team as follows:

    Foster (Gilks)
    Baines Bertrand Clyne (Wisdom Moore)
Di Maria Hazard Sterling Sig (Boyd)
    Kun Pelle Welbeck

keep Clyne for a few more weeks... good fixtures and still rising in value which will fund buying chelsea defense for the last 2/3 of the season when they lock down

ramsey would be a differential among those at the top right now i'd imagine if you'd consider sterling to ramsey

i might even be really bold and do something like sterling to diame that would let you upgrade welbeck to rooney/costa/falcao/sturridge/rvp in the near future

sorry for lack of caps... distracted by sniffling 2 year old

Thanks for the input, Frank, I won't consider Ramsey until I see some evidence of form (same for Walcott). I like your train of thought re Diame, although that would leave me with no Arsenal cover. But food for thought, thanks.

i have ramsey...should i keep him?....he is my 4th midfielder...not sure about his gametime...i was expecting him to start this week...but only came for 3 min off the bench and ruined it....so who should i consider in for him??

I would like to keep ADM since I would want him back for CPL. So it's Sterling on the chopping block in the event I do go ahead, thanks for the input though. Fabregas is really annoying me though with his infuriating consistency!

    Krul
    Baines Terry Clyne
    Eriksen Tadic Sterling Adm Siggy
    Welbeck Aguero

    Elliott VARDY Duff Caulker
    0.1 in the bank
    2 FTs

I like my starting 11 for the week and only dont like Vardy as far as my team is concerned but dont have the cash to upgrade him.. Any suggestions for my team? considering maybe swapping Terry for Chambers to free up Vardy to Berahino cash. Seems a waste swapping Terry out before QPR but i wanna get rid at some point and i've got 2 frees and Chambers home to burnley 🙂

See your problem - Terry out before QPR is not the best time - I'd try to find a replacement for Chambers.

I'd also love to get Hazard in, but that all depends on shipping Costa or not

Chelsea have a very nice run of fixtures coming up so I would be loathed to get rid now. And since you are playing 3-5-2, I think that's what players like Vardy are for, otherwise you'll end up with a benching dilemma every week.

I wouldn't make any changes, although it means you will lose a trade. You'll still have 2 next week however.

Just realised you have no attacking Chelsea, oops. In which case an Eriksen upgrade would be a good move if you can afford it. But I guess that brings us back to getting rid of Terry!

🙂 .. Baines Clyne Chambers Caulker Duff is a very balanced defense tbf.. always gives me 3 good defenders to play each week. Terry needs to be sacrificed! 🙂

Hazard is so close to his explosion every week. His finishing lets him down and his urge to dribble past all the defenders and goalkeeper and walking the ball in to the net instead of taking a shot.

He'll explode one of these weeks but I prefer the consistency of Fab. He puts at least one chance on a plate for the team every game

I'm on a wildcard and thinking of starting with Hazard in at the expense of ADM...

If he flops I will immediately sell him for ADM... He has the Burnley game to prove himself.

Sanchez over Hazard? (QPR in good mood, improved?)

Yes, not because of QPR but because of Sanchez.

Ideally I would want to save a transfer with this team this week. But what to do when I have 2 FT's and 0.4 in the bank?

    Begovic
    Clyne/Ivanovic/Baines
    Siggy/Fabregas/Sterling/Tadic
    Kun/Welbeck/Pelle

    Fabianski/Boyd/Moore/Hutton

    Thanks! 😀

Hard to fault that team. I would like to say don't waste the transfer but obviously you will lose it.....

I've given up on sterling for now, would you be prepared to downgrade ivanovic to bring in Sanchez or hazard even?

I can do Ivan and Sterling to Wisdom and Hazard for 2 FT's, but not convinced by Hazard and I reckon Sterling is a good option

Can't see a move worth doing. Can you downgrade a cheap defender just to get a bit more in the bank?

            Looks like the only option

      Nice team

Moore to Saylor/Yun or Fabianski/Bego to a cheaper keeper to make a little more money

Fabianski/Bego rotate well over the course of the season, so Hutton or Moore to Yun/Wisdom could be my only option

Yes, they rotate well, but as I said when you WC'd they're just a complete wast of money. Begovic is adding absolutely nothing to the rotation atm.

Now there are two options here:

            1) Downgrade Bego to Foster who doesn't rotate perfectly with Fabianski but is still a decent option. Gives me 0.4 more in the bank , meaning 0.8 total banked for future transfers

            2) Upgrade Bego to Howard or Scezesny who rotate perfectly with Fabianski. However, that would swallow the 0.4 I already have, meaning 0 banked for future transfers

*0.5 more in the bank,0.9 total banked in option 1

Don't do 2, that's just throwing good money after bad.

Cheers, I really like option 1

I'm not convinced by either Stoke or Swansea as a defensive unit. But your call which move to make
