This week’s ScoutCast is a throwback – a return to the days when Granville moaned about his team of red flags and names like Robin van Persie and Yaya Toure dominated our thinking.

Granville and I slip into such subject matter like it’s a pair of old slippers, whilst assessing the Aguero fall-out, the Dzeko option, Ivanovic versus “Dave” Azpi and how I’ve modelled my Fantasy Football management style on Roy Hodgson.

We roll out the regulars and lament the demise of the ScoutCast team – eliminated in the opening round of our own cup competition. Some things never change.

      I´m not tbh.. Newcastle are pretty good atm, Arsenal not so much imo. Alexis form have declined too. Could ofc score, but not expecting a big haul. Boring 1-0 win Arsenal

        Newcastle have a poor poor defensive record against arsenal and that's mainly because of the way wenger plays. Arsenals problems have been so exagerrated it's alarming.

    Ramsey ruled out mean I won't take a hit and can play Wisdom, which is probably for the best, but it also means everyone doing 2 transfers this week will be bringing in at least one of Dzeko or Yaya.

    Luckily my desk is positioned behind my couch

      I brought in Dzeko, reluctantly, and am tempted by Yaya but it would mean taking out one of Siggy or Fab, both of which I would like to keep. Plus he's on 4yc so it is the smart choice, but the allure is so damn big!

        Just got home from work, really tired and haven't focused much on FPL this week. Just bought in Bony for Kun and will likely do Duff > Zaba tomorrow before deadline. I was tempted by Silva too but I just can't find any room for him, and I'm not convinced he'll start this week.
