The Fantasy Flutter – Gameweek 16

With a tenner in hand, we go head-to-head with Paddy once again this Saturday morning. This time around, we call upon the services of City’s Bosnian frontman, Arsenal’s Spanish playmaker and Palace’s chief tormenter at home to Stoke’s porous backline.

Our first stop is at basement-dwellers Leicester as in-form champions City pay visit. Manuel Pellegrini showed in midweek that they are more than capable of prevailing without the injured Sergio Aguero and with Edin Dzeko looking set to start, we’re placing our faith in the big Bosnia. Paddy are offering 8/1 on Dzeko to score two or more and with morale high in the visitors’ camp, we’re making this our bet of the week and throwing £4 their way.

Next up, we turn to the Emirates, where Arsenal and Newcastle go head-to-head. With Aaron Ramsey sidelined due to a hamstring problem, we’re turning to another of last weekend’s goal scorers to continue his fine form and call upon Santi Cazorla to torment a Magpies backline hit hard by injury and suspension. With Paddy willing to offer 15/2 on a Cazorla goal and Gunners clean sheet, we shell out a further £3.

Our last flutter takes place at Selhurst Park, where Palace entertain Stoke. Yannick Bolasie has netted only once this season but has posed a major threat in recent weeks – a total of 18 shots is at least five more than any other midfielder in the last four Gameweeks. With Paddy offering 16/1 for a Bolasie goal and Eagles shut-out, we turn over our final £3.

    Good to go?

    Current team (0FT, 0ITB):

    Fabianski
    Naylor - Wisdom - Azpi - Baines
    Downing - Siggy - Hazard - Sanchez
    RVP - Costa

    (Boyd - Duff - Austin)

Should I take a hit for Fabianski -> Guzan???

I don't have Haz or Sanchez and so I have to captain Costa as all main rivals will probably do so and it's too risky giving the armband to someone else.

Who is the best Vice-captain pick between Rooney, Dzeko, SIggie and Jedinak?
