The day continues with a collection of six three o’clock kick-offs, laden with Fantasy talent. Manchester United’s Midlands trip to Aston Villa warrants a degree of interest from Fantasy managers but, in the main, our attention is likely to be centred on three London venues.
Queens Park Rangers reliance on the comforts of Loftus Road will be expected to reap points for Harry Redknapp and Charlie Austin owners alike – the striker has notched five goals in his last four home outings and he’ll carry the weight of expectation ahead of the R’s clash with the Baggies today.
Down at the Lane, Spurs will host a Burnley side that have lost just one of their last six. Mauricio Pochettino’s outfit will be buoyant having dealt out a 4-0 drubbing to Newcastle in midweek, with Fantasy managers looking to Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen to question the Clarets’ resistance.
In East London, West Ham’s incredible season looks likely to roll on as they encounter basement dwellers Leicester City at the Boleyn Ground. The smart money will be on Sam Allardyce grinning by 5pm: Fantasy managers will be doing the same if Stewart Downing and Diafra Sakho deliver in another Hammers win.
Elsewhere, Everton drop in on a Southampton side that have lost their last four league matches, while Swansea City will look to halt their own slide of defeats as they visit struggling Hull having lost back-to-back matches.
