    Morning all.
Im pretty certain that my attacking 7 will look like this for the double week-

    Erik Sanchez Hazard Silva (Boyd)
    -------Giroud Kane Aguero------

I can get this with 1FT and have 1FT left.

The Giroud to Austin is tempting me.

I also thought of Phillips but who could I drop from that line up for a QPR midfield?

    A. Use 1 FT ADM to Erik
    B. Adm to Erik and Giroud to Austin
    C. ADM to Erik and Boyd to Phillips
    D. Something else? (pretty certain im keeping away from TOT defence)

    Thanks

I think Giroud to Austin looks a solid move - Giroud has good fixtures but could easily get rotated whereas Austin almost certainly won't, meaning you could have 3 Austin v 1 Giroud over the next 2 GWs. I'd take those odds.

Cheers, its close. I do agree Giroud will get rotated at some point, just hoping its not this week. Thanks

I would not get over excited about Phillips, you have 4 big hitters so he won't play for you after the DGW right?

I'd do B - and am thinking the same except it would be Walcott to Eriksen and Giroud > Austin for a hit. Yesterday I wasn't going to take the hit. Until I saw the return of hee-haw last night...now Gru has one game to prove himself

Here's me team DZers: I feel pretty decent about it considering the Chelsea/Spurs blank. Double Baggies D is concerning me tho. Will Soton's offense wake up?

    Foster (Pants)
    Dawson/Jones/Bellerin/Berty (Terry)
    Sanchez/Silva/Walters/Boydinho (Hazard)
    Kun (c)/Defoe (Kane)

    1 FT, 2.0 in bank.

    So many defensive facilities around.
Im glad im not alone. BUt it doesn't make me feel any better about the GW ahead, especially after the Arsenal debacle.

    Foster
    PvA, Bellerin, Berty, Jones
    Boyd, Mane, Sanchez(C), ADM
    Kun, Giroud

    Hazard, Kane, Baird, Hamer

    planning on doing
ADM-> Silva and Mane to Eriksen for free next GW

    Thoughts???

Hard to believe that this is Liverpool's first European penalty shoot-out loss. Fine record considering their success in Europe in the past.

    Heeeellooo DZ

    Krul
    Clyne Dawson Bellerin PVA
    Cazorla Silva Sanchez Cork
    Defoe Aguero

    Foster Hazard Kane Zouma

    1FT and 2ITB

Planning to do Defoe and Caz -> Austin and Erik next week and would love to do so without a hit....

Stick with this plan and run the risk of 10 this week if PVA stays out or look at shipping him and changing tact next week?

IMO definitely stick. How much were you (/I) expecting from PVA anyway; 1-2 points maybe? He may well still score that. There are few replacements that I think would score more so better to focus on the DGW I say.

    1) Start Heaton or Panti

    2) What's the general opinion around Austin for the DGW, considering he has 2 hard games?

    1. Holmes
      • 10 Years
      9 years, 2 months ago

      1) Heaton
      2) They are hard games for defensive returns. Both teams have poor defense, so Austin can easily score against them.

First year of serious FPL and FFS. Let's just say I've learnt A LOT. And it's like an analogy to life. The grass always looks greener. Good things come to those who wait. There's no need to follow the herd, do what you feel is right. Very often your fear of missing out overrides your intuition or your ability to say "No". I think good FPL players are naturally inclined to not be fearful about what others are doing, in the game and life as well. Agree?

"I think good FPL players are naturally inclined to not be fearful about what others are doing..."

Wrong. They are mostly conservative and defensive. They are typically more concerned about dropping 1000 places in OR than trying to gain ground. "High ownership makes X dangerous not to own" is almost a mantra for many of them.

Only outstanding players and idiots play without fear. And that's the same in life as well. Safe mediocrity is most people's preference (though they will tell you otherwise).

Wally to Erik and Giroud eventually to Costa via Austin?

Im pretty set on having Sanchez as my only Arsenal cover in a few weeks time

Would love Ozil to get dropped then if that is indeed true

Hmm, seems not true, GW3 AND 4 both played and he scored.
        True for 2015!

    How's this sound lads?

    Krul
    PvA, Wollscheid, Bellerin, Bertrand
    Boyd, ADM, Mane, Sanchez,
    Kun, Giroud, Kane

    Panti | Kane, Hazard, Terry

    1FT, 1.8 ITB

    This week: PvA -> Naughton
Next week: ADM and Giroud -> Eriksen/Silva (probs Eriksen) and Austin (-4)

Was originally going to save but with doubts over PvA and Bellerin I think I need to make a move this week.

    Thoughts?

Looks pretty good, although ADM & Giroud > Eriksen & Austin would suffice

That was my original plan, but if I do that for a hit it is basically a -2 (at worst) because PvA won't play, and with Bellerin doubtful I could be left with 9 if I save.

        Cheers.

Don't like the Giroud -> Austin move for a hit, rest looks good to me.

Giroud faces rotation, Austin with two good attacking fixtures (imo) and will be able to hold onto him for a bit

    Any help would be appreciated

PVA is my 11th, wisdom on bench
Wisdom to Bertrand for a hit?

If I do it, do I
    A) bench Forster for Foster
    B) go double southhampton

    I'm thinking B for balls
