Myself, Granville and Jonty welcomed Fantasy Premier League royalty for this week’s episode, as reigning champion, Tom Fenley, made his belated ScoutCast debut.

Tom joined us to talk us through his difficult post-championship season, whilst lending his informed view the situation facing the current Fantasy Football Scout league leader, and FPL number one, Simon March, aka “Dufflinks”.

Of course, we were also glad to have Tom’s expertise on board to help us grapple with the latest round of topics fed to us by the community. Amongst the many issues tackled, we attempt to explain the withering form of Sergio Aguero, discussing the merits or otherwise of an Argentine exit strategy.

    Interesting that everyone is selling Austin, but we are told not to sell benteke because he is on form.

    Austin is on form too, chraper, more consistent this season, and benteke also has a blank. I guess the main reason is the upcoming fixture?

    Hey DZ lads, hope you have all been well! I've been absent for a long while with uni being flat chat...

    Any of our resident physios around (Ruber??) ? I've done this back injury where I had strained some paraspinal ligaments on my left side. I have SI joint pain and instability (longstanding) ...

    Now I seem to have very sore spinous processes that are sore on extension and on palpation.
    What the hell is this? It came up out of the blue after one training session?

      See your Doc he may send you to a Physio. My spine is shot to pieces and trying to guess the various intricacies of lower spinal nerve damage or the muscles around them, or the discs is a terrible shot in the dark.
      You might check out some gentle muscle strengthening exercises for the area.
      Physio site of NHS possibly.

      Or acupuncture could help.

        thanks flynn! been to see the physio and she thinks it is just ligament strain on the paraspinal muscles and sling muscles that support the SI joint...

        but this new central pain has arisen in the last couple of days after the other pain got better so I don't know whats going on! I have another appt. next week so I'll see how i go.

          Has she recommended varying ice and heat packs a few times a day?

          I find with my multiple damaged bits a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel can help at least get me off to sleep. (On top of a fine array of mega painkillers). (Not something you want unless desperate).
          If there is no improvement you may need to see a consultant and ask for a scan, they could be reluctant but stick with it. Not all medics know it all.

          im no doc so pls don't take my word as gospel, but from what I understand when you injure your self. especially the core, you begin to hold your weight a different way to compensate, walk slightly different etc. this puts pressure on other areas that can result in aches and pains.. it might not be a whole new injury

            yeah that is also what the physio told me Higglet... and it makes sense as I have always had a bad back from when I was a teenager. I have a pivot point where I put all my weight on and thats the bit that is hurting but she hasn't advised me not to play.. just some activities to strengthen it up!

              Because the muscles of the trunk and torso stabilize the spine from the pelvis to the neck and shoulder, they allow the transfer of power to the arms and legs. All powerful movements originate from the center of the body out, and never from the limbs alone. Before any powerful, rapid muscle contractions can occur in the extremities, the spine must be solid and stable and the more stable the core, the most powerful the extremities can contract.

      I don't think you might as well do it now although I can see the pull as Newcastle is a decent fixture for Liverpool.

      Sanchez could do well against Burnley though, I don't think I'd make the transfer. Save it and re-assess the Liverpool mids in GW34 - someone might have got injured by that point

    Do u think sterling and skrtl are enough liverpool?

    To get sterling i have to remove sanchez as the others are cesc, hazard, cambiasso who already have a double and silva vs villa at home. The plan is to get those two liverpool players and schmeichell thus giving me:

    fabregas, hazard, terry, skrtl, sterling, cambiasso, schmeichell 7 double gameweekers

      Reports suggest he'll play with a mask but Mourinho will probably tell us more later.

      If you don't already own him bear in mind he's only one yellow card away from a 2 game ban so getting him in this week is risky.
