      Spare a thought for aguero owners like us who have to endure through his blanks and captaining him for most of those 5 games.

      No1 is really a winner unless u jump on aguero late and got his hauls

        Most people will have to make two moves to get him in, because most don't leave the kind of spare change in the sofa that it takes to upgrade one of your other strikers to the most expensive striker in the game.

      I might spend some of your money to upgrade one of either Ward/Francis/Richards to Alderweireld. Spurs seem more solid since he settled into middle of defense. Or Dier if you want an OOP defender with some attacking proclivities.

      You can ride Kolarov for a while if you want, but people are going to start selling him if City can't keep a clean sheet. Be on the watch for that so you don't get burned on price and by then you can switch him out to either Stones or Jagielka to catch on to Everton's upcoming run of good fixtures.

      Saints looked great today but consider the opposition. Not saying that Soton isn't quality on attack but remember that Chelsea made Newcastle look like an attacking force last week.

      They read too many of their own press releases and started season in less than top condition, due to lengthy showcase tours.

      They didn't react well to the initial spankings and that fomented loss of confidence and infighting

      Jose hasn't really ever been a good architect of attacking football, tactically, so when the defense is doing something less than producing clean sheets or only producing one goal, he hasn't been able to pull the switches to get more out of his offense.

      Defense changing every week doesn't build confidence.

      Drama

      John Terry's wheels have fallen off.

      Fabregas hasn't ever been able to help out defensively, and now that has been revealed, but Jose is too stubborn to bench that piece of his team?

    First struggle of the season transfer wise:

    Schmeichel/Fabianski
    Kolarov/Dawson/Darmian/Richards/Gomez
    Yaya/Mahrez/Sanchez/Payet/Ayew
    Auger/Vardy/Ighalo

    2FT and 0.8 ITB...Wanted to bring in De Bruyne for Yaya but can't get rid of Richards or Gomez since they don't give me enough funds for any defender. If I use Yaya and Ayew I can get De Bruyne and then a cheap 5th mid and play 3-4-3, using Ighalo primarily and a 5th cheap mid for the bench.

    What other options are there?

    Barkley to Mane will give me this mid-field.

    Mahrez / Silva/ Payet / Sanchez / Mane

          Fair enough. I'd think he might have done that already over the rough run of fixtures they've already finished. If he could do it in those matches, you'd surely expect him to keep it up against the lesser foes that they face from GW11 onwards.

          But those are just my thoughts.

    Would you play Darmian (eve) or do Muniesa ➡ Janmaat for -4?

    Muniesa is a deadwood anyway so worth a hit over long term, perhaps?

    Payet gone up in price again - damn!

    I'm keeping Coutinho in at the moment as nobody else has him in my ML - i've watched him play in several matches and my opinion is he's quality and with Sturridge back i'm hoping he can turn it around.
