Just ten days after celebrating three-figure tallies, many Fantasy managers are now left counting the flags as the international break casualties mount.

Sergio Aguero leads the army of crocks. The City striker’s twanging hamstring has taken the shine off his incredible 25-point haul and it’s his demise from hero to zero that dominates the chatter in this latest ScoutCast episode.

With Granville struck down by sniffles, Luke aka “D1sable” steps into the breach to join Jonty and myself to take up the challenge of weighing up the Aguero stand-ins.

We also take time to assess two contrasting managerial appointments, greeting Jurgen Klopp’s thrilling heavy metal football, whilst mustering a nod to Big Sam’s bid to produce a Black Cats escape routine.

        Without a doubt. Yaya is the better option over KDB

        I think the best midfield five is

        Sanchez. Hazard. Walcott. Yaya. Payet.

        I only have Sanchez and Payet of them so far

      Yes.. i am worried about taking a punt on him though. So many good options available(Soton/Arsenal/Brom/Swansea/Moreno) and we are considering sacrificing a spot for a Newcastle defender 🙂

    This is my team currently:

    Myhill (McCarthy)
    Williams, Dawson, Kolarov, Oxford, Muniesa
    Sanchez, Mahrez, KdB, Payet, Sako
    Gomis, Martial, Vardy

    I have 1 FT but am willing to go -4 for the right move - I am thinking possibly Muniesa for Soare and Sako for Mane which would then put Mahrez to the bench for GW9 (3-4-3). Any suggestions are welcomed for how to sort out my issue that non of my benched players get any minutes ...

          Then you might just be one of the fewest teams saving a transfer this week. 11/11 of your players have very good fixtures or form. Save this week and make a better transfer next week.

            because Mane not guaranteed a start and taking hits for defenders very rarely pay off.

              Why is Mane not guaranteed? He has played 90 mins, 85 mins and 90 mins respectively in his last 3. Has played in every game this season.

              Mahrez for me is the most likely non-starter and I need cover on the bench if he doesn't start, or if Kolarov (75%) doesn't play. Sako OUT and a playing midfielder IN seems the best option.

    Hoping Kolarov and Evans will play so my defense issues sorts out itself. But contemplating Kolarov -> Bellerin in the near future. Also, my keeper problem should be sorted out soon. Probably Krul -> Myhill.

      Of all the injury doubts I think Ayew is the most likely to play after 15 days off so I would keep him personally. Plum fixtures, in good form and playing on Monday night. If you want KDB how about for Westwood and playing all out attack?

        Thanks for input. If Ayew plays he will probably be in the points, and then the 6 points differential which is need to justify a hit for KDB is less likely. If he doesn't play Westwood would surely get a 1 pointer.

    Is there ANYONE on here not going with Payet on their WC? at his price he is now competing for a spot with the big boys ie Yaya/Wally/Mata/Mane/Eriksen etc.. Reckon he is worth continuing with considering the fixtures take a turn for the worse(somewhat). Dont get me wrong.. still a great option. but is anyone going without?

      ok i just checked and they have the worst fixtures in the league over the next 7 according to the ticker. i know it's form over fixture but form has been very fickle with teams this season(and managers even more fickle)

        His lack of shots and touches in the box dont really warrant the points he has got.. Creates loads of chances but he depends on his team mates finishing them for points. Cant see West Ham dominating many teams over the next 7

        Having two Chelsea players in my team all season so far has been biting me quite hard enough thanks!

        They have neither good attack nor defence at the moment so none of their players are even close to being worth their premium price. It will take a seismic shift in their form for me to consider getting anyone in in the near future

      I wouldn't do B. Both Costa and Pelle would have to score twice for it to work out. Martial is well capable of scoring against Everton. Just go Aguero to Costa/Pelle and be done with it.

      i'd stay away from the -8.. Bert is in no way guaranteed anything the next 2 weeks. Martial could do ok and frustrate you..

          I hate defenders with any rotation risk. Double is great now and eventually Kolorov can be shifted to someone leaving you with Komp.

          As long as you dont want any more Man c that is. Short term fine, Kolorov eased out soon.

        Yup.. Simpson perma benched(inkling he'll be a long term starter for leicester) and a small benching decision between Bertie/Janmaat/Dawson every week. Pretty happy really.. May still go Butland over Howard at the back(Save points seem a reliable source of points) and save 0.6 but thats about it

          I'm treating Hoolahan solely as my bench player. If he gets points, so be it.
          But I'd rather have Hoolahan coming off the bench than Westwood if one of my first team doesn't make it.

          Would you go Costa or Lukaku? If I go Costa I will be captaining him.

    Already on a -4 and my team is in disarray with injuries and suspensions. Going to be ruined whatever picks I make, so I'm rolling out this team and hoping that taking fewer hits will make up for the fewer points I score. Happy with people taking -12 and all for 8 points is not easy to get back.

      Aguero to Costa would have been my advice. If not him then Lukkaku, can score vs hard opposition and nice fixtures coming up

        I want to get rid of Aguero but not sure about -4. Chances of it paying off this week are low. Costa(C) was what I was thinking too but I can see Chelsea trying to go for clean sheets after they are 2-0 up or so.

        I also don't like template/bandwagon players (my low rank indicates that too :)) and Lukaku is the perfect bandwagon player without whom I wish to climb up the ranks. Besides, I think 8.4m is too much for him.

        Any recommendation on Lens?
