Leicester are clearly regressing (chances created are going down). Mahrez isn't on pens. They're not going to score anywhere near as much as they have been. Dropping Mahrez is a no brainer for those without Payet imho.

For those with Payet, it's not quite the no brainer. Especially as the options are Firmino, Barkley, Silva...etc. You just don't know who to sell him for.

What i do with Mahrez depends on Sanchez' form

My thoughts excatly. Had 1 FT to burn and pretty satisfied with my defence.

Wanted Payet in despite tough home fixture. Wanted to keep Alli who has stats and fixtures, refuse to drop KDB or Özil so think it was time to sell Mahrez

Agree with Jazzii! Payet owner here.

And for me, Mahrez's appeal was never entirely about his pens. He may no longer be scoring points like a 10M midfielder, but he's not 10M. I don't think we've seen enough yet to decide he's not going to keep delivering value for money.

    Team:

    Butland - Ruddy
    Clyne - Bellerin - Toby - Ward - Sagna
    Özil - Ramsey - KDB - Alli - Mahrez

    RP

    4O-50ish points behind ML leader.
Do I hold with a couple of differentials (Moreno and Simpson) or make my move now and remove KdB, Marhez or Alli?

Looking at Firmino, Silva... Who are your differential tips?

Not much room for differentials yet. Stick with the stronger team and negotiate the blanks.

I've just done the same last week dude.

Took out Mahrez and Lukaku because the ML leader (I'm in 2nd by about 20) is holding them.

Bought in Kane and Alli because he doesn't have them.

I think it depends on the team which you are chasing; sorry for sounding obvious.

Watford look terrible vs Swans and they arent doing well last 4 weeks anyway.

Newcastle on the other hand however, improving and looking much better with Shelvey.

        Lukaku vs Swans

tough one, but not having lukaka could hurt

    Non FPL related
I have an ACL reconstruction surgery and partial meniscectomy 5 days ago
I can now flex my knee 98 degrees and I can walk without that much pain with a leg brace and crutches.
I've been trying to walk without the crutches and it worked surprisingly well.
Should I attempt to not walk with the crutches at all today, and is my rehab fast or slow?

Walk with crutches, otherwise you may have issues with your backbone. (you won't walk normally, even without big pain)

I would suggest walking with crutches if the doctors told you to do so.

I know at your age you always feel the need to speed up the healing process/ get back into sport quickly, but I'd give it some time.

It's not worth using WC if there are only 4 teams playing twice in a DGW, right ? Like in the first possible week due to the League Cup.

    1. Je suis le chat
      • 10 Years
      8 years, 3 months ago

Depends on the 4 teams. If its City, Eve, Liv and New, you'll likely have enough cover already. Wildcard might be needed after a dgw rather than before.

All the love for Targett is ipunderstandable. Even if he stops being a regular starter does it really matter when he is 3.7?

It might come the blank Gameweek, when you will likely need every available outfielder.
Question is how likely is he to keep his place?

I think the gamble is worrh it mate. He saves you loads of cash. He showed Koeman he's good and he might start him more often - not every game but he will see game time.

For those of us with 2FTs and no idea of using it, might just keep him for budget flexibility next 4-5 weeks and and if he drops out, shift for the blank week for someone with good fixture in the blank GW. It breaks the cardinal eating an FT and creating the need for one down the line but might be worth it as many things change in 4-5 weeks and we get an idea of who we want to shift out from our squad.

I've been scouring the Souhampton forums. All depends on whether they persist with the system which i think they will.

Irrespective if it means Sanchez + Target or Non Sanchez + 4.0, difference is still worth it.

All right so I have a wee question for you lot.

Kdb to Barkley ? This leaves me enough to do Donkey to Aguero ! BUT .... I can't afford it unless I downgrade Arnie to a cheap 5th mid. So that means 3 transfers and a -4.

Do I do it ? Or do I just wildcard

Do it. I did 3 transfers for -4 just recently.

Similar situation. But I have Ighalo and 1FT. Anyone else besides Barkley you could get to do it in 2 trades?

I want Barkley because of everyone's fixtures tbh. I was gonna just wildcard but now I think I will just take the hit and keep the wildcard for a rainy day

How do we combine BB and WC to maximize points in a huge DGW?
WC to get 14 DGW'ers a week before? But tough time getting points before and after the DGW? Please help.

The general consensus is to WC one week before and then play BB the week after.

If you know of the DGW's a bit in advance you might load up on DGW players through normal transfers and then ship them on WC after you've played BB.

Thanks! But will the BB be useful if we can't get more than 11 DGW'ers? Very difficult to get more than 11 thru normal transfers.

A few hits before the big dgw and BB. Maybe WC after the dgw to fix the mess.

    Aguero stats this season:

    8 home games: 9 goals 1 assists
    7 away games (1 sub): 1 goals 1 assists

Better hope City improve their away form.

Kun has been unlucky with peno decisions in away games. He prospered in away games last year.
