This week’s ScoutCast is dominated by double Gameweek chatter, as your community queries hone in on the variables, strategies and planning involved in exploiting the fixture pile-up to the full.

I’m joined by Jonty, Andy and Luke as we attempt to make sense of it all, turning to a virtual flipchart to digest and communicate some of the options on offer.

It’s hardcore stuff that takes into extra time in an exhaustive 80-minute episode.

    1st WC draft what do you think? Happy with it myself all going to plan without inj bans etc. WC GW 33, bench boosting GW 34 and playing triple C GW 37. Will have 15 DGW player GW 34, can field 11 GW 35 with my 1FT and with another FT can field 11 DGW player GW 37 Whew!

      Probably Kane, though the primary captaincy options against Villa in the last 5 have managed 3 double figure scores (Kane, Aguero and Arnie), while Lukaku and Firmino managed 5 and 6 points respectively. That makes it hugely tempting to go with Siggy.

      Morning Berb, I think you'll be a real force next season when it becomes more of Klopp's team, you've already improved hugely (just need consistency). He's a truly fantastic manager. Utd, on the other hand, just look like a side that have been jumbled together an hour before kick off. Just nothing to them at all.

    Seeing a lot of gw 24wc drafts with player combinations that cap how much points a team can potential...i.e west brom defence AND arsenal attackers (west brom play arsenal this week)

    If Rate my Team indicated that your GW36 WC strategy is 13 points better than your GW33 WC strategy, would it be enough to convince you to take the GW37 route ?

      To me, soon as you get the agueros ozils payets etc in 34, to get 15 dgw players, you eventually end up with some at riskof rotation like sagna or monreal or worse, plaayers from west brom or such rubbish.

      34 is a trap. You can get 11 strong dgw in 34 and keep mahrez then get 15 solid nailed on dgw players in 37. The 34 teams dgwers are from expensive sides.

        My fear of GW36 WC is 15 DGW rototion risks rather than 11 that GW, the teams much stronger in GW33 and GW35 however, when i've got my Spurs and Leicester players in my squad.

        If you can get 11 (or maybe even 10) DGWers in 34 with FTs then I'm in agreement. I think any less and you need to consider WC in 33. 13 points on RMT is pretty significant, though you are relying on RMT being able to have a decent estimate on the rest/rotation factors, which is hasn't been great at in the past.
