Dugout Discussion – Hull City vs Man United

Hull City and Manchester United conclude the day’s events with a top of the table clash at the KCOM stadium.

Against the odds, both teams go into the tea-time kick-off having won both their opening matches, with Tigers boss Mike Phelan working miracles with a threadbare squad.

Not surprisingly, both Hull and United are unchanged. Whilst that could be down to very limited options in Phelan’s case, Jose Mourinho chooses to keep his winning side intact, with Chris Smalling and Henrikh Mkhitaryan again named on the bench.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Just done Deulofeu > Bolasie and it feels like a mistake. Bolasie only a 2 week punt until I have 2 FT to make a real change! 🙂 Can't have another blank from Gerard!

          Not sure what to do about my midfield, if anything.

          Hazard // Barkley // Tadic // Redmond // Capoue

          I have 0.9 banked - I'm planning on using it to do Gray to Benteke before GW4.

          I'm a little apprehensive about having two Saints midfielders, ahead of their relatively tough run. I could do something like Tadic to Lamela, but it feels a bit sideways and in light of the above planned transfer it would be for -4.

          Ultimately I'd really like Ozil but that doesn't seem possible at the minute.

          What do you think? Stick with the two Saints for now and bring in Benteke as planned?

              Blanks at home to Watford and Sunderland and only 2 goals for Southampton in 3 games doesn't look good. Fixtures only getting harder too.

              Could be a good one to revisit once he finds form though, was excellent at end of last season

            Looks decent. Your problem has been that your bench fodder has been on fire and your field players less so. But The performances are there and results will follow. Only thing I would not really be happy for is having a double Saints attack at Arsenal.

            I would only sell Gray if he gets banned.

              Ozil I think based on last years stats. Although I think i'm getting Sanchez as I'm happy with my team so don't need the cash that getting ozil saves me, it also givs me flexibility to swap him to anyone else if I want

                Not much you can save there...I'd definitely keep Haz and Kun...so probably drop Ibra to Costa and Tadic to Sanchez

          Trying my best to avoid wildcarding at least for a few more weeks. Can do the following for a -4 hit. Thinking it will give me Arsenal coverage, and keeping up at least a bit on price changes.

          Townsend, Stones and Tadic -> Ozil, Amat and King

          My defence will be weak, but it's the only way im getting Hazard + Arsenal coverage without WC. (Can also do Gray -> Diomande, without taking a hit)

          Any thoughts?

          only 26 points but not too depressed, if only Mahrez had scored the penalty and Leicester would have kept a clean sheet it would have been a green arrow. Some weeks are just unlucky
