The ScoutCast – Episode 228 – Countdown

The final countdown has begun with the new season kick-off now less than 24-hours away.

Earlier the week the ScoutCast grew gathered as the clock ticked down, with Jonty, Andy and Luke joining myself to tackle a raft of perfectly targeted questions from you – the community.

Each of us take turns to reveal our current line-ups, while the collection of queries allowed us to put each of the four positions under the microscope. On occasions, we even broke from the ScoutCast tradition to provide some definitive answers.

Pre-season gremlins struck as I dropped out in full flow on Paul Pogba, but I managed to return to steer the ship towards its final destination – the first weekend preview of the new campaign.

It’s good to be back.

          no no no no no no no. He is currently fourth on the list of our CBs - behind Bailly (will start 90% of games) and Lindelof / Smalling (I'd say they do 40% each) and Jones getting the remaining 30%. He might start GW1 because he was banned (along with Bailly) for the Super Cup v Madrid on Tuesday.

      Saints defence is highly owned. Id get Bertrand for Danilo (or Cedric for Dann is you don't want to lose Danilo)

    can you a lot better team if i drop Kane for Jesus.
    fear factor off dropping Kane is he takes off scoring

        D) does make the defence look nice and attacking! But it does mean I'm starting a WBA keeper every week. Going DDG/Dawson saves 0.5m and means I can rotate Dawson with Carroll based on fixtures.
