Careering out of the international break at speed, the ScoutCast returns in anticipation of a turning point in our seasons.

We’ve been chattering for several weeks on the much anticipated “fixture swing”, and now we’re all set to put ourselves at its mercy.

What does it mean for our Fantasy line-ups?

In truth, with multiple transfers and Wildcards at our disposal, Jonty, Andy, Luke and myself started this latest episode still seeking our own answers. Over almost 90 minutes and with your community questions providing the steer, we do our best to reach some conclusions.

We weigh up Manchester United exit plans, Liverpool’s blunted attack and Jamie Vardy’s recuperation techniques, before previewing Gameweek 8 in the usual hap-hazard style.

      Jean-Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is a professional footballer who plays as a forward or winger for Stoke City and the Cameroon national team.

      Choupo-Moting began his career with Hamburger SV, making his Bundesliga debut in August 2007.

      He spent the 2009–10 season on loan at 1. FC Nürnberg and in August 2011 he joined 1. FSV Mainz 05. After three seasons with Mainz he moved on to Schalke 04 in August 2014. He became a regular for the Gelsenkirchen club, and made over 100 appearances, before joining English Premier League side Stoke City in August 2017.

        The one thing that's making me lean towards Jesus though is I can't see Aguero starting this week, so could then easily bring Morata in for Jesus.

          Oh I definitely don't think Aguero will start this week either but looks like next week for sure which diminishes the appeal of Jesus for me. However if you're happy to use a transfer again next week then could work out OK.

    On WC so if I go for option 2 and Sterling rises tonight, I can change him back to Coutinho and option 1 before deadline with no problem but if I wait and Sterling rises, I wont be able to afford option 2. So I should take option 2 tonight to buy myself more time?

      when did you get coutinho in though? he's at 9 now but was 8.9 at start of IB. if you bought him for 9 then option 2 but if for 8.9 you'll lose 0.1 buying him back in

      Lucky to make the bench never mind the pitch. Jesus will start and get 60 mins by which point City will be 2+ goals up and he will be subbed. Sterling play remainder of game as false 9 and Jesus replaced by Sane or BSilva.

        There's a chance neither starts as well, with CL midweek. Pep may want his strikers to be in best shape for that.

        He might think he's got enough to beat Stoke with a false 9 system, in fact that would be typical of him, going all a bit maverick / too clever for his own good.

      Because he might not start/play and a hot topic showed he had played more minutes but was either on par with or being outscored points-wise by Sterling and Sane. Also can't captain a player surrounded by this much uncertainty and paying 10.5m for a non-captain option isn't an attractive proposition

    Does it make sense to ditch jesus and go for lacazette - esp if pep indicates kun can start at weekend?

    Seems sensible that Pep starts Jesus and bring on Aguero if needed against Stoke. He most likely won’t be match fit, or could play them both then withdraw Aguero early for champions league in the week. Jesus only good option for this week I think then do the good ol switcharoo to Morata if fit.
