Maybe I underestimated Granville. Maybe his throwaway comment made at 10.32 on a weary Wednesday evening wasn’t throwaway at all. Maybe Granville is a Fantasy football mind games genius.

Regardless of whether his plan was pre-meditated and devious, it certainly worked as you’ll find out in this, episode ninety of the ScoutCast.

Aside from my sidekick’s scheming, we give dear old Leighton another rinse following his twanged hamstring, tackle the template midfield yet again, check on the market movements in “all aboard” and, of course, look forward to the weekend action. We also start spending points on the ScoutCast team: it’s the slippery slope. Where’s Granville’s genius when you need it?

    I literally have no idea what to do.

    Walcott and Suarez are the main targets. I'd be selling Ba and Mata, both of whom I still have faith in. Not only that, but one of Rafael, Baines or Nolan would be shipped for funds.

        I may not sell any of them and even let the 2 FTs roll. The name of the game this season has been persistence and patience. Pick a big hitter and ride through thick and thin. I've over tinkered and now need some discipline.

    I realise everyone is posting random transfer options, mainly the same ones that people have been posting all day but I'm after a bit of advice on my own dilemma...
    How important is depth of squad over the Christmas period?
    If I have a squad of 14 good players (+ a useless 2nd keeper) will I be upset by points (and value) on the bench or happy having decent subs coming in as managers rotate.
    I have 2 free transfers and don't mind a hit on top.
    Which team looks better up until wildcard time?

      Just got rid for a hit, brought in Suarez.

      I'm fed up with having a constant rotation doubt in my team and it's only gonna get worse over Christmas. Suarez (c) vs Southampton should cover the hit.

      This week was largely irrelevant in my decision to get rid.

      At some point he will be rested, for me, -4 was well worth getting rid.

      I dispute the notion that he's underpriced by around 2 million at 9.4.

      If Aguero was rested as much as Tevez has been, i'd argue that Aguero was overpiced.

      Suarez/Giroud are nailed on, have better fixtures either side of his price - over the next 6-8 weeks they will outscore him comfortably imo, then(i hope) -4 will seem irrelevant.

        How about you switch to Bale, who himself goes up by 0.5, meanwhile Mata drops q couple because of the blank.

        That 0.7 team value disappears very quickly...meanwhile, you get fewer returns.

        Not saying do it, i just feel that the money will follow the points imo.
