New Match Stat Maps Now in Members Section

In addition to recently publishing the first set of Pre-Season Player Projections, we’ve also rolled out a selection of new stat maps in the Members Area.

Currently these are available via the Match Dashboard, allowing you to view events such as Goal Attempts, Chances Created, Crosses, Passes, Tackles, Clearances and Blocks in any given match. You can also filter these by any player in the match to get a view of his performance for any of the stats in question.

We’ve got more stat maps to add to the selection, most notably a touches heatmap. Before that, however, we’ll be adding these new stat maps to the Player Profiles and Compare Tool to allow the analysis of the maps over a range of Gameweeks.

    I've kept this for about a day now so it must mean that I'm pretty happy with it right?

    Different from a lot of the teams in the fact that I've not gone for the conventional 2 10+ strikers.

    Obviously Colloccini usually ahead of Gorkss.

          I've punted on Hazard and I think I'll go with two defenders. They should realistically keep at least one clean sheet, so that's where the safe points are.

          I take your point though, although Ramires is a cut-price option.

    Using the compare tool on the members bit, Tevez vs Aguero is interesting me. Is as if Tevez was playing as a CAM and Aguero the striker. Think it has lead to me believing that I want Aguero, even if Tevez is starting.

            I remember that, I had Aguero, you had Tevez.
            Aguero got something like 30+ points in 2 weeks when I got him in for Rooney, had no form and everyone was avoiding but WBA nor or something were his fixtures so I couldn't resist. One of my only well timed transfers. I actually wanted Tevez but he wasn't starting!

              I got Tevez after the Arsenal game that was meant to have ended City's title hopes. I was sure Tevez would become 1st choice with Kun after the events of that game. Was glorious for 3 gameweeks. Annoyingly changed my plan to sell Tevez in the DGW36 due to his returns and got 2,2,2 the last 3 games of the season.

                I remember getting Tevez in for RVP for a hit vs Wolves and doubling up, he got 5 and RVP got 1 so it was pointless in the end, ditched him for Jelavic for the DGW and kept Aguero, who IIRC got a goal and assist in the last 3 games.

      Perhaps, but this means Tevez gets more of the ball, especially away from home, so is more likely to pick up Baps - and an assist is only worth 1 less point than a goal anyway.

      And he's 2.5 million less. Sure, it's a gamble but that's a decent amount of cash to have say, Lescott instead of Demel...

      like the keepers, rotate really well. Not sold on captain choice, big risk imo. Double swans defense is an interesting ploy, may be prudent to swap one of them out for balance.

    Le Fondre could be genius/disaster - I like it.

    Newcastle/Sunderland defence/midfield is obviously great for rotation - again I like it.

    Problems - no united, you will want/need some united cover after GW1.

    I would think about Reina > De Gea for this (pool have a new manager and crappy fixtures anyway).

    I've seen Hangeland or another Fulham defender in many a RMT. I think their defence is overrated because of the time under Hodgson then Hughes. Jol is a far more attack-minded manager. Their clean sheet stats took a dip last season and I expect this decline to continue. Meanwhile their goalscoring stats, at least at home, were far better. Spurs were abysmal for clean sheets under Jol but scored plenty.

      Don't double up on Fulham D. Get Guthrie out of there. You're going to find it hard to ditch Pogrebnyak, as there aren't many viable options at that price.

          Don't see the point in getting Kompany over Lescott, both will be starters. Even if your happy with your team, keep the extra million and use it for transfers later in the game.

      Cant be bothered with this saving £2m stuff. Just got them both, and can easily change Torres to Ade/Cisse/Bent/Jelavic. Torres is more likely to outscore Rooney in GW1, so Rooney probably won't rise in price in the first week (it's just people who do exceptionally well). Switching to Rooney GW2 poses very little risk in terms of cash, it's just holding back money for a transfer that I don't like. Anything could happen in the first week, really don't want to plan transfers, especially by holding back money. If Rooney is that important, get him in at the start.

              considering the fact that there were 8 mids who scored more than him and there were quite a few mid-cheap priced mids who had a better ppg, he's not worth 7m imo

                The 8 midfielders that outscored him were Dempsey, Silva, Bale, Walcott, Nani, Mata, VDV and Sessegnon, who are all (besides Sess) 2M+ more than him. His fixtures are immense, and the only cheaper midfielders that have a better PPG are McClean who I expect to fail, he was very lucky last season, and Pienaar, who has never really been good FPL wise besides the second half of last year and they are only 0.5 less.
