The ScoutCast – Episode Ninety Four – Resumption

Back for 2013, fully refreshed, slightly rusty and balancing the same chips on our shoulders, Granville are I make a return to the podcast studio.

The New Year presents my beleaguered co-host with a 51-point gap to bridge as I spent Christmas “ho-ho-ing” about three midfield hat-tricks, leaving Granville to roll out one mighty miffed in this week’s episode.

Elsewhere, we pick at the double Gameweek buffet, eagerly scoffing on the Chelsea canapés whilst wondering if Rafa has hidden something nasty in the vol-a-vents. We rinse that down with the latest transfers in and out in “all aboard”, preview all the weekend fixtures and carry out the latest emergency surgery on the ailing ScoutCast team.

My options this week ....

Sterling > Hazard, then Hazard to Caz next week

Or I could upgrade C. Cole to Ba, but this means I can only upgrade Sterling to Ramires and then I can't afford more Arsenal cover.

Better to stick with the first plan?

People with a second WC handy, Mignolet is a good enough stand alone keeper till GW31.

Mignolet + 3.9 is a good option imo

I know it will be slightly different for each person but generally which strategy are people going with:

A. Taking hits to get in dgw players for both weeks and then playing the wc after that to set the team up for the rest of the season.

B. Playing the wc now to get in as many dgw players as possible and then using transfers to get out dgw players and get in players for the rest of the season.

    But you forget he is the darling of MK Dons, and his heart is here...in fact, he still lives in MK !
    I went to Barnet v MK Dons in FA Cup last season....he was at Barnet then, and yet we sang his praises throughout....including a "Thank You Izale" banner, based on his first stint at the Dons (60 goals, 130 games)....
    
    ....also, he does well at Pompey this season methinks.....
    
    ....also at 28, he has alot to offer yet....

      I'm a Barnet fan, and I agree he has a lot to offer. But so often he didnt bother to move and just stood around watching play as an observer, quite glad we got rid tbh.

        He has been accused of not having the best attitude in the past...but he seemed to put his heart in the first stint at MK. Time will tell.
        
        Underhill is one strange ground ! I quite liked it, part of the charm was it is a complete mish-mash of different stands ! I thought your fans were quiet, and bizarre that only a handful stood behind one of the goals....I would have thought your main core would be there, rather than on one side ?
        
        We won 3-1 that day...guess who scored your consolation ? Izale ! 🙂

I have already used my FT to bring in Ba. I am willing to take one -4 hit. Should I do...

A) Nastasic -> Azpilicueta this week then Azpilicueta -> Gibbs next week
or
B) Cazorla -> Mata this week and Nastasic -> Gibbs next week.

Option B is better for Chelsea DGW but would leave me with one less DGWer over the two weeks (had planned to keep hold of Cazorla for that reason).

Help would be appreciated!
