The ScoutCast – Episode Ninety Five – Rush

Rush. The best form of goalkeepers for the playground. A long-haired Canadian prog-rock outfit. A mustachioed goal sniffer and, sadly, a description of how Granville and myself had to approach this latest episode of the podcast.

With our studio slot limited, we had to skinny things up and turn this one out double-time. Nonetheless, in 26-minutes, we touched on all the regulars, whilst scattering the silence in between with the usual sniping between the pair of us. It makes you wonder what we waste the other twenty minutes on every week.

Not to worry. Enjoy what you can of this little taster and look ahead to next week’s full-fat return, when we’re planning a new feature and a new voice.

Grab this fast-food snack via this link, or stream the quick chat via the player below….

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I take it there is no value in swapping out one of the 5 to double up on Arsenal mids?

I am struggling to be enthusiastic about this DGW - thinking of only Demel, Walcott and Gibbs.

Please RMT guys, trying to catch a league leader who's 15 clear and has Santi Theo and Gibbs this week. I have 1 FT and 0.1 in bank.

    Begovic (Bunn)

Luiz Demel Sagna (B.Davies & Clyne)

Theo (c) Bale Mata Michu Puncheon

    Ba RVP (Berbatov)

    Do i

A: leave it as it is.

B: transfer Luiz to cheaper defender to put money in bank.

    C. Ba out (as not sure he'll play) for Podolski or Sturridge?

On WC this week, long term I want Aguero & Sturridge with RVP.

However with doubts over both of these this week, does it seem wise to go with Dzeko & Suarez and then switch to Aguero and Sturridge when they're both playing the 90?

It's Luiz and Berba to Reid and Pod.

            Migs, Bunn

            Zaba, Clyne, Davies, Harte, Wilson/Jones

i think it will just be a system arsenal have played for most of season and so they will be used to it. Also will want wilshere's running in the midfield against a strong chelsea midfield. Podolski is fresh, he will play atleast 1 game .

Are Wilshere playing in the hole and Podolski playing on the left mutually exclusive? Doubt it, Cazorla and Wilshere could just swap round. Would be bizarre to stop playing your most consistent forward over the season

I think it's fairly clear Podolski was rested for the Swansea game to play in the two upcoming.

Which is going to be a rarity now Wilshere's back. Not the midfield general any more and Wilshere's playing style consists of bombing it into the pockets of space that Cazorla used too.

Anyone having a problem with fiso tonight. Looks like I’m ony seeing players with a positive percentage. Have been monitoring Caz but I can’t see anyone who is of a negative percentage. I’m guessing he will still be in the minus’?

Nope, can't find him. Have you checked it yourself tonight? It's as though they keepno records of players with negative percentage

Are Verm and Gibbs the only two nailed on Arse-defenders?

anyone think gibbs will rise by +0.2?

will get him in but probably wildcard him out. any point going for him tonight or should i just wait until saturday? i have 0.3 in the bank, but if i could sell him on for an extra 0.1 then cool.
