Better late than never, our ninety seventh episode of the ScoutCast delivers another 45 minutes of mirth, plus injury time.

With the Professor otherwise engaged, it’s left to Jonty to provide backup to myself and Granville, arriving to deliver another “Fully Jonty” – the first to feature a community victim.

Doosra’s Fantasy fortunes come under the microscope, revealing a penchant for bandwagons and knee jerk transfers. Nevertheless, we try to go easy on the experienced campaigner, rounding things off with the extraordinary tale of the Doosra rescuing Jonty’s dog. True story.

That treat rounds off an episode that includes all the usual regulars, including our rinse through the forthcoming double Gameweek which Granville insists on placing within inverted commas: the weirdo.

    Evening. Am I the only one who hasn't made a transfer yet? Liverpool prices rises have been insane this gw, but I still am not convinced. Thoughts appreciated.

          That's SantiagoUnreal, apparently. He is too controversial of a figure to feature on the ScoutCast, I think 😀 The reason why Doosra worked so well is because a) he had an interesting story with all the hits and b) he is well-liked and well-known member of the community.

          The way I see it...I personally won't want to keep Suarez long term with Sutrridge at Liverpool...if Aguero shows yet another game of form, I will be convinced and I will want to have the flexibility to bring him in. RvP, Sturridge, Aguero may just be the optimal front 3 for a while now.

      If you've narrowed it to those two, I'd rather have b) so you can have Sturridge for the DGW. But losing RvP is not something I'd be willing to do, personally.

              There is a VERY high chance that one (or even both) of them get reduced pitch time this weekend. I will definitely NOT be taking RvP out to double up on Chelsea midfield.

                This. I would do Lambert for Sturridge and use 2 FTs to sort out gw27. You might have the most explosively balanced setup I have seen this week for gws 26 and 27.

    I've got a headache about the DGW, I know that my rival has taken a 4-point hit to bring in Enrique and Sturridge for the DGW (and already has Michu), while I have used one of the 2 FTs to bring in Gerrard.

    Now I have Gerrard, Davies and Michu for the DGW and I have to chase about 50 FPL points, so should I do the following:

    GW 26: Gibbs + Giroud -> Enrique + Sturridge + 4 point hit
    GW 27: take another 4 point hit in order to field 11 players

    Should I do these given that my rival can field 11 players in GW 27 without hit?

    A) Bale/Mata/Walcott > Michu

    B) Bale/Mata/Walcott > Gerrard

    C) Fellaini > De Guzman

    D) Just leave it and be boring

          If Sturridge is at full fitness i do wxpect him to outscore Suarez , he looked very sharp against city. Also cant play in the euro game which is a big plus

          Good thing with Sturridge is he much more keepable than Suarez at the current prices , so getting Sturridge improves team more in the future , he should also keep rising , apart from next week , I can see Suarez losing price fairly fast , he such high ownership and is likely to be the player most kick out next week , nobody wants 10.5m sitting on the bench

    so i'm thinking suarez (c) just because studge has a pretty low ownership so is already a great differential in himself whereas a large number of people own and will captain saurez so if he explodes you're more likely to drop in the rankings

        I have cameron for stoke defensive cover. stoke have been a bit leaky while norwich have been solid at the back and they're up against a fulham side that cant score away and are without berbs. ideally both stoke and norwich will keep cleanies but I think I know how this will turn out: bego saves a penalty while norwich concede and I curse the fantasy gods, That's how it was last week when I benched bunn haha
