I wouldn't be keen on having tripple Pool going forward and attacking changes are more dynamic than defensive ones (especially as you only have 1 striker this week), so would get rid of Sturridge or Suarez for Lambert or Cisse

i'm totally happy to play D3. like i said, D1 is too much for me. only D3 school in cali i've applied to is CMC.
my general point on the last page is if schools are pretty similar in my mind then the two deciding factors will be scholarship money and if i'll be able to play soccer there or notOpen Controls
makes sense. what is and isn't similar will vary. there are some exceptions, but the D3 schools are typically much smaller. depending on what you're looking for, this alone can have some significant pros and cons.
CMC is a great school. i'm not going to date myself, but their soccer program used to be tops in the league every year and they were one of the dominant D3 programs in the western US back when i played. i'll offend someone if i rank some of other schools in the league on academics, but there are at least a couple others that stand out with CMC in my view.
the "if you'll be able to play" factor is definitely a tricky one, and the answer may depend some on if it's referring to immediately or over time. it was a while ago, but i played and was all-conference for 4 seasons in that league. however, i don't know if i would have played much, if at all, at a D1 program as i just wasn't fast enough. it's not for everyone, but this was the perfect balance for me and you'll definitely be playing with some very good players at a school like that.Open Controls

Meet a casual yesterday by fluke - got talking soccer and he smiled as he said his Fpl team was going down the tube he ranked over 1m , I said I was doing ok.
I offered some advice and he showed me his team - to my horror I saw he had 3 West Ham defenders - now IMO that's overkill ! I asked him did he wc them in , he answered what's a wc to which I noticed he'd played neither , I asked him does he keep an eye on TV ? To which he replied every night with tea and biscuits and at the weekend - the latest DVDs !
My thoughts on this are 2 things :
1 - either we're all mad on this thing
2 - this really is the competition ( insomniac casuals .ie )and only probably the top 100,000 or so actually take Fpl serious .
