With two-goal strikers Romelu Lukaku and Arouna Kone also pressing for recognition, our rankings reflect a Gameweek where the differential came good, leaving established Fantasy favourites falling short.

Planning on sticking with RVP and benching him next 2, by taking a hit this week.

  Option 1, save. You will be much better placed to decide after GW 28, considering the GW 29 situation.
  
  If you really want a transfer, I believe RVP and Kun have a lot to give still. You could consider Sturridge-->Lambert or Gaston-->Sissoko.

    Don't count out "after The Lord Mayor's show" syndrome. Last 5 yrs league cup winners next result:
    
    2011 - Liverpool 1-2 Arsenal. Lost at home.
    2010 - Birmingham 1-3 WBA. Lost at home.
    2009 - Wolves 0-1 Man U. Won away.
    2008 - Newcastle 1-2 Man U. Won away.
    2007 - Birmingham 4-1 Tottenham. Lost away.
    
    Personally I am going with at least 2 Newcastle players, think they are likely to get some points.

        I just wish Aguero didn't look so terrible. Any kinda form would be enough to win me over but he's not looking the same player as last season. I hear he went/going through a divorce which could be affecting him badly + classic second season syndrome = super risky:(

        Yeah same here, although he looks to play a lot better with Tevez there, and yesterday he had 3-4 good chances but fluffed it. Obviously not great but the fact he is getting good chances shows some potential.

      How many goals does he have to scored to justify the extra £1.8m?
      
      In other words, do you think he will outscore Wilson by a ration of 3:2? And even if he does, do(n't) you think that the £1.8m could yield more points when invested elsewhere?
      
      Let's say Stoke get 2 clean sheets in the next 5. That's around 17 points for Wilson. Huth is only worth the extra if he gets 9+ points more than Wilson. That's a goal and 3 bonus for Huth (assuming Wilson gets no attacking returns/bonus.
      
      Realistic?

      They have moved Monday games back a day or two to the weekend before, but if my memory is correct this has been due to cup matches being played in the following midweek, never other league games. But this must be a possibility.

      We went down the same route in the end.
      
      I decided to do the Davies > Wilson move after all (on Saturday morning). Not sure if it was the right one but I should easily be able to field 11 for GW29 regardless so it probably was worth doing. That extra point may be precious! I just hope Davies doesn't outscore Wilson next week or I will be quite annoyed.

      not sure how well enrique will do this week though. in general he's the best def at that price imo but wigan have been attacking quite well recently so not sure how well he'll do for this one gw in particular. in fact i think they've only been shut out a handful of times this year....
