No thrills. Few spills. Just two men in a room talking about Fantasy Football.

Granville and I handed Jonty and the “Professor” an extended pre-season and rolled the ScoutCast back to its rawest form. Just myself and the Mancunian sharing our thoughts after a summer break and looking forward to another Fantasy campaign.

We talk double Gameweek assets, I roll out the van Persie duvet, Granville reveals more than he should about his team lineup and, around all that, we assess the early bandwagons and preview the weekend fixtures.

Forty-five minutes of two blokes talking about the stuff that’s rattling around in most of our heads right now.

      One of the better "RVP" teams. Johnson/Morrison is one too many budgeritoes imo. Otherwise very handy.

        Looks solid. If any criticism the defence looks slightly frail. Nice keeper combo, strong midfield, nice balanced attack. 8.5/10. Let it roll.

          Thanks. Not too worried about the d as I'll only ever have 3 defs playing. Toure plays all games; Cole for the first 3 games and Murner/Clyne/Burner will all chip in.

    Gone for Koscielny atm but looking at Arsenal's fixtures they look good for attacking returns and not defensive returns tbh
    Villa(benteke) fulham(always score at home) TOT sun(again very offensive at home)
    may go for Reid instead and save the 0.5 and upgrade brayford to clyne as my cheapest defender.

      Use the extra 0.5 to upgrade Terry to a more-likely-to-play-both-matches Chelsea defender. Or upgrade Altidore to Dzeko if you want to risk it.

        Thanks for the replies! Not super confident in Terry, but I'm willing to take a punt. I'm thinking I might need the 0.5 to do Benteke > Soldado or similar in the blank GW.

        I have had Dzeko in and out of my team. Can't decide. How likely is it he will play most of the games in the start?

        Come on, you can't have 2 defensive midfielders! Have you ever played fantasy premier before? 😉

        You have to choose attacking. I think ajohnson is a really good idea. he scored only 5 goals last year and got as many points as silva. He is nailed on in a revamped/healthy/ and newly attacking team. He could score 10+

          Even though I have him, I'm not overly convinced. McNaughton will definitely get some games, there's even a possibility that Connolly could play right back at some point.

              I wouldn't say £1.5M is enough to guarantee he plays every week. I think the fact that I have him means I think he'll start the season at right back, but my pessimism over him means I think he'll lose his place at some point!

      Don't get morrison. he has a low ownership, owned exclusively by FFS readers. They/we are more likely to buy and sell a lot. If things go pear shaped his price will fall rapidly

      very tough decision,and one ive just recently made,think u have to go lukaku and giroud..n out the 2 id go for soldado as i believe studge (lpool fan) will only get 60-70 minutes max...thats my reasoning anyway..good luck
