I saw things a bit differently and was somewhat disappointed by his performance yesterday compared to how he played in the Cardiff game, notwithstanding the fact he scored in that game.
What the article doesn’t mention is that despite his high number of passes in the final third, he was only 75% accurate with those passes which is well down on what we should expect from him. Also if you look at where those passes happened:

Most of them were out on the wings and only 1 led to an attempt on goal.

Doos, concerning Paulinho, I'd rather Mirallas in my side over the next few weeks.
I'm delighted we have Paulinho in the team this year, and I do think he'll do well over the course of the season.
