Monitor – Adebayor and Eriksen

As Tottenham’s momentum under Tim Sherwood continues to build, two of their first-team have emerged as leading contenders for our Fantasy attention. Since the departure of Andre Villas-Boas, Emmanuel Adebayor has played a part in six (three goals and three assists) of Spurs’ 11 goals over five matches, whilst Christian Eriksen has chipped in with three goals and an assist.

With 36 points apiece in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game, many wildcard drafts currently include one of the duo in light of Sherwood’s penchant for attacking football. Both are still very favourably priced, with Adebayor slightly more expensive at 7.8 to 7.3 and, as interest intensifies, we cast an eye over the pair’s recent displays and also compare them to other options in their respective classifications.

my thoughts: luk price will def fall plus doesnt look great in front of the goal... Although im afraid the bugger will start scoring the min i drop him.....

Ok, one last time before prices change:

Would you do Lukaku -> Aguero for -4?

Got Luk for 7,4 current price 8,8 (sell price 8,1) and 81,1% to drop.

Other forwards are “The Obvious One” and Giroud...

Arsenal 'cover' is a tough one.

You look at that starting lineup, and it's so difficult to predict who will get the points. I honestly think that they could win 4-0 and nobody could get into double figures, with the goals and assists being shared around equally.

Even if someone is set for a monster score, who can predict who it will be?

Giroud is the answer for me, and maybe wilshere as your 5th/benched midfielder if you can afford it. The likes of Ozil at 10m will surely struggle to outperform his cheaper & equally likely to score fellow mids. Giroud is tired though
