As Tottenham’s momentum under Tim Sherwood continues to build, two of their first-team have emerged as leading contenders for our Fantasy attention. Since the departure of Andre Villas-Boas, Emmanuel Adebayor has played a part in six (three goals and three assists) of Spurs’ 11 goals over five matches, whilst Christian Eriksen has chipped in with three goals and an assist.

With 36 points apiece in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game, many wildcard drafts currently include one of the duo in light of Sherwood’s penchant for attacking football. Both are still very favourably priced, with Adebayor slightly more expensive at 7.8 to 7.3 and, as interest intensifies, we cast an eye over the pair’s recent displays and also compare them to other options in their respective classifications.

    Marshall - Ward - Chester - Jedinak
    2.2 ITB - 1FT

    Do you prefer:
    A) Mert + Ade > M.Olsson + Aguero -4 OR
    B) Gerrard + Ade/JRod > Ki + Aguero -4

    If I go with B, Ki has two consecutive good fixtures that I will play him in, and then in 2 weeks I can upgrade Jedinak by getting rid of Mert (after CPL). So basically Ki will be my 5th mid after the next 2.

        Not sure I like Boruc's next two, don't see any clean sheets. A lot of tough home games and the easier games are away to teams who need points

    Anyone else tired of this rotating defenders nonsense. I look at the fixtures and no2 defender is away at City. Then at Ward, but Palace are playing someone better than them, obviously. So Chester it is then. Wish me luck.

    Why are so many people overlooking Ashley Cole?

    He is on amazing form, should get a CS against MU at Stamford Bridge and the only tricky fixture in upcoming weeks in City away.

    I know there is a risk he could lose his spot when Ivanovic is back but I don't think he will. Even if he does you just sub him for another Chelsea defender.

        Cole is much better for bonus points, assists and goal threat. Last 4 weeks he has scored 37 points, which is up there with premium strikers. I think he is well worth the extra money.

            I am hopeful he will retain his space and Azpi will drop out as he seems to be back on form. If this turns out not to be the case I can transfer him out for Azpi. However, if I get Azpi and he gets dropped I will most likely need to do 2 transfer to get a new Chelsea defender.

      You can't just "sub" him for another defender. It takes a valuable FT and at that price you want someone who at least is a guaranteed starter

            Similar to my problem.

            Of all my big mids I would downgrade Silva. Why! He has Cardiff.

            Refuse to downgrade Ozil or Hazard.

            Could remove Erikson for -4 for Negredo but again reluctant.
