Pick a plan please for the next 2 weeks

Plan 1) Yaya --> Mata then save my FT in GW36 incase I need to bring Yaya back in for GW37

Plan 2) Yaya -->Gerrard this week then Gerrard --> Mata in GW36 and likely take a hit to bring in Yaya or another united player for the DGW

Plan 3) Just do Yaya -> Mata now. A waste of a transfer otherwise.

2 could do better points wise since pool player norwich but it requires an extra FT

I think i'd prefer yaya > mata and then use the other FT to get a different city player in gw 36

Yeah with so few GWs left I really should try and minimise hits. Gerrard and his pens are just scary but I think Mata+4 won't be that far off Gerrard

    hey lads here's my team:

    Speroni - Davis
    Baines - Coleman - Ivanovic - Ward - Chester
    Yaya - Eriksen - Gerrard - Nasri - Noone
    Aguero - Suarez - Lukaku

1 FT, 0.8m in the bank..

not sure exactly what to do..looking at getting Rambo in I think but I'm not sure for who..I'm considering doing Lukaku + Noone > Kane + Ramsey so that I can hold on to Yaya if he's only out for a few weeks..thoughts?

    thanks!

can afford it, but I just see Rambo having a storming run-in to help Arsenal secure top 4. Wenger has been very vocal about how important he is and Ozil is nearing return as well..

plus Kane played back to back 90s and scored in both games and I think Sherwood will continue to use him as long as Soldado is out..he only costs 4.4m!! 😯

As expected, the foregone conclusion that is this weeks captains poll leaves us all in no doubt that we should captain suarez.

I own him, and that would absolutely be my intuition.

But the facts tell me that Norwich have an exceptonal defensive record at home. Just two goals conceded in SEVEN games! By any measure that is brilliant. Those seven teams include man city.

Theyve been pummeled on the road, but not at home.

I am very much leaning towards eriksen at home to fulham.

    Any thoughts fellas?

        lol I wrote that poorly..

have Yaya, somewhat inclined to keep him if he's only out 2 games..

so bringing in Kane would allow me the funds to have 5 big mids (Yaya, Nasri, Gerrard, Eriksen, Ramsey) and play a 3-4-3

funny one isn't he giroud, world class hold up play and first touch but generally not clinical or fast enough in the modern day premier league era. 10 years ago he would have been a top striker in the league but having that extra yard of pace has become a minimum requirement.

he is under-rated for what he does bring though, that ability to have balls pinged in at him and he just cushions it in and lays off in the runner's path with aplomb. it is that hold-up play and ability to bring other's into the game that chicharito lacks to make him a complete striker. those two would have been quite a pairing not long ago

I'm not convinced we will see both Rooney and RVP on the pitch together anytime soon. Injuries and niggles are playing their part now and Mata is looking fantastic in the #10 role. However you do raise a good counter argument and I don't mind having that week to consider my options before GW36.

As you already have Johnson I don't think there are any other in that range. I'm doing Yaya-->Mata this week as I'm not sonvinced Gerrard will get much vs a solid Norwich at home fighting for their lives. I'd love to do Mirallas --> Ramsey but I don't think theres a FT to spare for that.

Thats the fact of the matter really. I guess I could always do Yaya -> Mata and keep Snoddy using my extra FT in defence perhaps but it just doesn't appeal to me.

no Rooney/RVP. Everton confident. Worth playing Baines/Coleman.

I'm playing both. Not much choice, but it worked against Arsenal @ Goodison.

    ok had another think..

    Speroni - Davis
    Baines - Coleman - Ivanovic - Ward - Chester
    Yaya - Eriksen - Gerrard - Nasri - Noone
    Aguero - Suarez - Lukaku

1 FT, 0.8m in the bank..

    Yaya > Silva and Nasri > Rambo/Mata (-4)

or just only do Yaya > Silva?

I'm likely going to hold until tomorrow at least for games to end, but why until then? just for pressers? only Yaya and Baines would be of interest to me in them and Yaya is pretty confirmed out and will drop like a stone with so little time left in the season..

A players selling value cant fall more than 0.1m in a week.

Pressers may reveal news about other players.

            0.3m*

and yes true, but while I'm not worrying too much about money, it's nice to have that buffer room in case my plans change

anyhow, Everton presser today said that same team will play so now I have no concern about Baines
