Dugout Discussion

The Dugout Discussion – Saturday

Saturday continues with five afternoon kick-offs, before Man City see us out with the first of their two Gameweek fixtures in the evening encounter at Goodison.

Before that, Fantasy managers will be focused firmly on Old Trafford, as Ryan Giggs’ continues his tenure as United boss with an intriguing clash with Sunderland. The home side will look to build on the 4-0 thrashing of Norwich last time out, while the Black Cats turn up, scrapping for their Premier League lives and, in Connor Wickham, boasting a striker with five goals in his last three outings.

Elsewhere, both Villa and Hull get their double Gameweeks underway in the midlands, while Newcastle look to halt a slide of five straight defeats at home to relegation threatened Cardiff. Fulham share similar concerns but make the trip to Stoke in hope of furthering their chances of survival. Finally, Swansea take on Southampton at the Liberty Stadium, with Wilfried Bony looking to maintain a scoring streak of four in his last two league matches. Then, City take over with their promising tea-time clash with the Toffees on Merseyside.

Our Twitter feed carries all the news from today’s team sheets, while the Dugout Discussion chatroom remains open to collect your real-time reactions to today’s events.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

So annoying, my rival is 8 points ahead as of 11:30. We brought in the same players I already had. So it's going to come down to:
Me - Coleman, Chester, Ramsey, Rooney
Him - Kos, Azpil, Januzaj, Wickham.

And he has Sterling on the bench for next week, one extra Liverpool player than me.

How can I overtake him?? Need a miracle.

15 - Fulham have conceded the first goal in 15 Premier League away games this season, more often than any other side. Problem.

AS IT STANDS - Fulham & Cardiff down
Because both Fulham and Cardiff are losing, and Sunderland are winning, we will see both the Cottagers and the Bluebirds relegated if scores remain the same.
