From this I'm guessing we can count up the individual points...

Sime VRSALJKO for example recovered 8 balls, so I think he should be on 6pts... (3+4-1)

How come Oscar score 13 points with just 1 goal. Neymar scored 2 and he got 14. Only 1 pt difference.

PSA: Here's some notes on McD point scoring system I figured out while meddling with stats from the opening game.

Deadball deliveries don't count as balls delivered into the penalty area.
Recoveries only count when the recovery happens in your own half.
Pass% bonus is calculated from passes made in the opponent's half.

Fun Croatian stats I counted 99% sure they're right:

MID Modric (61min+, 13RB, 2 PA passes, 80%+ pass) = 11 points
MID Rakitic (61min+, 12RB, 1 block) = 11 points
DEF Vrsaljko (61min+, 4RB, 3 blocks, 3 conceded) = 10 points

Best tactics: 4-4-2 5-3-2 3-5-2 Messi and Neymar up top, midfield of workhorses and tons of crap defenders getting bombarded with shots. Best to pick players who don't get subbed often; those extra 30mins are paramount for your shite Iranians to get hit with a ball.

Has anyone tried changing formations yet? If I change from 4-3-3 to 4-4-2 I assume they automatically kick the rightmost forward from the pitch and add an empty space next to the rightmost mid. Haven't gathered the courage to test it out yet.

Don't know why people keep having a go at McDonalds. It's FIFA (or fifa.com) who made the game. McDonalds just paid to sponsor the fantasy game. Seems like it's worked tbf, the amount of times people have said "McDonalds" as a result. I've just said it 3 times myself and I haven't set foot in one in about 10 years.

For anyone expecting a Jelavic or Fred assist in McD's game... not gonna happen...

Will we be able to see other people's teams in MCD game at any stage? Maybe after each round?

So looking at FIFA statistics, it seems odd that Brazil had 9 shots on target but Pletikosa has only 3 saves. 3 went in. That makes 6. Are blocked shots counted as on target as well?

Is it too much to hope that we'll be able to see each others scores before the end of the group stages?

I don't mind the scoring system for the McGame but seing opponents players and scores is half the fun...

Plenty of heavy weighting of the big four, with only one person giving Germany less than a 28, but the deviations for the rest are pretty dramatic, from Cameroon ranging from 2-17 to USA at 2-22 and Japan 2-26. Everyone had Brazil at least at 30.

I will post results as often as possible, and will hopefully do a bit more with the spreadsheet. Cheers.

It seems Fantasy iTeam is the only WC game with it's act together, all scores and points updated within minutes. People were all up in arms about being able to buy an extra transfer for 50p, but the only difference between FiT and McD's is that your money is being spent on all the extra cheeseburgers you're subconsciously buying and it seems none of that money actually goes back into the game 😆

How do I know the scores of other players?

Is there any additional point for being MoM?
