    Repost:

    Begovic, McCarthy
    Bertrand, Chambers, Naylor, Duff, Moore
    Hazard, Sterling, Sigurdsson, Chadli, Boyd
    Aguero, Costa, Pelle

    2 FT, 3.1 ITB

    Which one looks best?

    A) Duff > Baines
    B) Naylor Baines
    C) Pelle > bench fodder, Boyd > ADM

At that level its all about which one can rotate best with your other defenders to cover their bad fixtures, rather than about who is better head-to-head

Thanks for the reply. After looking into it the only way to do it on a (reasonable, i.e. not ruining another position) -4 transfer is to drop Fabregas, and I'm not sure I want to do that. Perhaps after Di Maria has played Chelsea and City.

Silva is great passer, but not great FPL player. Lose him for ADM, even with ManU fixtures getting tougher.

i've got the same midfield and going to do mirallas to downing. he's a great 5th option plus Sigy can be benched against the top teams away. Also, you can play 5 mids sometimes depending on your strikers.

exactly. i benched tadic this gw and downing got 8 points vs his 1. Siggy will be benched away at stoke next round too. Perfect rotation. What's not to like? The man is involved in everything WHM do in attack.

Anyone fancy a bit of surgery?

I want to get ADM in but I know its going to hurt.
    My team as it stands:

    Forster / McCarthy
    Ivanovic / Clyne / Williams / Chester / Duff
    Fabregas / Chadli / Sigurdsson / Sterling / Jedinak
    Aguero / Costa / Ulloa

1FT 0.3m in the bank, no wildcard.

I feel like the obvious move is to strip funds from the attack or defence (i.e. downgrading Aguero or Ivanovic) but they've both been performing pretty well.

    Any suggestions?

Can't see it being done in less than 2 moves unless you sacrifice Kun, which would be a very tough call. Better off without unless Kun injures himself, which would give you an excuse to free up funds for ADM. (I chose ADM instead of Kun a couple weeks ago, and don't regret it.)

What to do with 1FT // 0.7 ITB?

    Courtois
    Clyne PVA Coloccini
    ADM Silva Sterling Siggy Chadli

    Gilks Vaz Te Moore Wisdom

    A) Save FT

I see Baines as another midfielder. And what 7.0 midfielder who scores penalties and freekicks, and has 3 assists in 7 along with 12-15 extra 4 pointers isn't worth their weight in gold? He's always among the bps too due to his high involvement too. I'm bringing him in asap.

Fabregas will consistently deliver an assist or so per week, but not double digit game returns. I have him and plan to keep him all year, but others - such as ADM - will probably be more exciting.

I think he'll get a big haul soon. Against Palace and QPR in the next 3 i can see him playing further forward, and he's always a threat on set pieces too. I think 9.0 is a good price for someone as consistent as he is.

Just playing on the transfers page and realised that I could afford the following team after a few transfers in a few weeks.

    Mannone - Hamer
    Chambers - Duff - Hutton - Moore - Wisdom
    Walcott - Fabregas - Sterling - Sigurdsson - Marney
    Aguero - Falcao - Costa

Worth it at the expense of a cheap defense? Got the best attacking options from City,United,Liverpool,Arsenal and Chelsea.

Might as well WC to get this in a few weeks when Walcott is back.

    Thoughts?

Just a thought about my potential WC team.

As far as that defense is concerned, I'd probably back 1 CS every week from them if not more.

Chambers has very good fixtures. Widom and Hutton rotate home and away. Duff has been solid defensively(will only improve when Marney and Jones are back). And Moore is a decent fodder.

I prefer one or two more quality defenders, but the lack of CS this year may mean you are on to something. Definitely would be different, but if we end up with lots of 0-0 games over the winter, you are in trouble.

CS usually become more prevalent after January. So this could work untill then and then reshuffle the pack with the Jan WC.

That's the template and I don't wanna go there.

Moreover I'd want Walcott when he's back.

mannone is my keeper and his next 6 fixtures are very tough i was planning same w, 4.0 non playing humer (who played only 1 game CS).

u still going for vito over guzan, schmeichel, and foster?

You have £5.4m to spend, where do you put it?

    Begovic Krul
    Clyne Lovren Chambers Taylor Wisdom
    Siggy Tadic Fabregas Sterling Downing
    Costa Pelle Welbeck

Some of my ideas are a combination of the following, but I welcome any ideas (note - 0FT this week)
    Lovren>Baines
    Tadic>Walcott
    Taylor>Ivanovic
    Pelle>Sturridge

If Sturridge is as healthy as they say after Int't duties i'd get him based on fixtures. QPR, Hull, Newcastle, Chelsea, Palace, Stock, Leic, Sunderland ... only Chelsea will be tough.

Thats true, I've considered that, but for now im happy with Pelle and will probably stick with him until gw13.

I've only had 7/21 CS's though, and no attacking points from defenders apart from Clyne, so I feel like that is the area I can most improve in the short-term. Its what has differentiated teams so far this season imo, as most people have the template front-8.

I also expect someone like Benteke to become a great target around GW13 when Pelle's fixtures nosedive.

      2. Guzan. Other than Everton and Spurs, he has good fixtures and a very good defense. Will be even better when Vlaar comes back.

no to chmeichel because he has no CS so far? hes got like 22 saves. his bench Humer got the cs. li fixtures are so very tempting.

So, I'm pretty certain I'm getting in a Spurs mid soon (GW9). Is Chadli worth it over Eriksen? Haven't watched Spurs too much but find it hard to pull off moves like picking Chadli over Eriksen or for that matter Henderson over Sterling. Keep thinking Chadli is a flash in the pan like Dyer for Swansea whom a few in my mini league opted for over Siggy after he'd scored in a couple of matches.

I wouldn't get rid of a defender who's just posted 3 CS's in a row including CL. Chelsea is starting to become the defensively solid machine now again.

Dummett or Duff should be your priorities. Two Burnley players on your bench is a bit much imo
