Which do you think is better?

    A) Fabregas & Sakho

    B) Chadli & Pelle

(With no other Fwds/Mids from those teams, except Costa)

Outside winter is always a Duff time for Gardners. To avoid a Dier one inside, I like to collect Wood Fer a fire to warm my Chambers. This can keep the Brunt of the cold away and warm my Hart...

          Sorry.

Has ADM actually had an assist that wasn't a shot this season?

    - Mata's goal looked like a shot, though I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
    - The assist for Herrera's flick was actually a pretty tame shot that Schmeichel would have smothered.
    - Falcao's goal was also a really badly hit shot that found the right path.

I can buy the argument that only good players get lucky, but surely those types of assists aren't sustainable?

Not sure if these assists aren't sustainable, but they always tell midfielders to shoot for the far post, because you never know what could happen. He's certainly doing that.

Can i get some thoughts on my team for next GW??

    Forster
    Clyne Wilson Chambers
    downing Sterling Fab ADM Siggy
    Costa Falcao

    Elliot Hutton duff Wood
    3.8 in bank
    1 FT
    What should be my priority??
    A. Wood>>Welbeck
    B. defender??>>Baines
    C. Siggy/Dowining >>Tadic

I would appreciate any kind of help. 🙂 🙂

You've got a good playing 7 with decent fixtures so i wouldn't get welbeck in yet.

you need a defender though and baines has great fixtures. i'd get rid of hutton or duff probably.

I'd think Haz is still the PK taker regardless. In fact, probably more important that he continue to take them now to act as a confidence boost since he isn't scoring as freely from open play.

Haz is the PK guy. Did you notice he didn't even look at the ball when he shot it? Costa's only chance for a PK is if Haz is in Jose's dog house.

So guys, could anyone clarify the Pieters situation? Already missed shipping and he's dropped 0.1, Muniesa permanantly ousted him now yes?
    Cheers.

What to do with this lot?

    DDG/Gilks
    Chester/Cahill/Duff/Dummet/Clyne
    ADM/Siggy/Sterling/Downing/Marney
    Costa/Pelle/Aguero

Thinking of doing Cahill to Baines. Or maybe I should save my transfer. Thoughts?
    Thanks 😀

Personally I am struggling to see why Baines is gaining so much hype. Yes, he has a lot of attacking potential, but Everton's defence is not getting any better. I see the 7m pricetag as a combination of both the attacking and defensive returns of Baines over recent seasons, so without the defensive capabilities I see the pricetag as too high and would rather invest the funds elsewhere. Feel free to shoot me down with reasoning if you disagree

Defensive returns are a bonus. He put in numerous crosses yesterday playing away from home and should've scored a penalty.

      At home he's a midfield taking all FK's, PK's, Corners..for £7m. Buy.

Actually, attacking points are a bonus. Clean sheets should be the first thing you want/expect from any defender

Take a glance at their upcoming schedule.

Also, keep in mind they had a very difficult start to the year.

Baines and Ivanovic are worth every penny as far as I'm concerned.

Everton have some good fixtures coming up so it's reasonable to expect clean sheets

When Coleman and Barley come back less will go through Baines

Hes ok if you have a spare 7m sitting around, but i dont think he is worth it, never has been.

He gets points , but people forget about the points they are losing by having to make cocessions esewhere

He's not essential no but there are periods during the season where he is very handy. I'm guessing this run of fixtures will see him do quite well.

This. I do think Everton's slow start to the season is a combination of tough fixtures and Europa.

Fixtures is clearing up but Europa still there!

Yep Europa is a concern. Stones being injured might be a problem as well. I won't be making any early transfers

Even if I were to bring in Baines, I struggle to see how I could fit him

            Mannone/Guzan

            Clyne/Hutton - Duff - Chambers/Moore

            Sterling - ADM - Siggy - Fab - (Marney)

            Pelle - Costa - Aguero

Would replace Duff with Baines and probably replace Pelle with Berahino/Sakho

Defence works by having 2 rotating pairs and one stand-alone that has a good 7-10 week period

I've seen a few recent posts of yours though Trigger where you were looking at ways to get him in, so you must see some value in him. I realise your posts are trains of thought sometimes, so not saying you can't change your mind obviously...

Oh i would get him if i had the money. Aguero is the issue, i consider him more important , if he wasnt round i would have Sturridge and enough left over to do Moreno to Baines.

This is the problem, my front 8 is so set there no way to get him

            Siggi ADM Fab Sterling Boyd
            Aguero Welbeck Costa

I regard that front 8 as perfect, cannot justify breakin it up especially as all the players were bouht for lower prices. So until someone is injurd they stayin

    hello gents...

    this is my current team.

    Begovic,McCarthy
    Shawcross,Moreno,Clyne,Taylor,Wisdom
    Hazard,Sterling,Siggy,Tadic,Downing
    Kun,Welbeck,Ullora

I'm thinking of finally getting costa in... ( bit late i know ) Sterling & Ullora out for Chadli & Cotsa??
I have 3mil in the bank.

    thoughts ?

    Hey guys
I'm on this team right now:

    Bego
    Chambers Duff Moore Cahill Clyne
    Fab Sterling Siggy ADM Boyd
    Costa Aguero McAleny

Obviously as you can see from my third striker I WAS playing pure 3-5-2. Then I got rid of Lamela/Ramsey and bought in Boyd with the idea of transitioning to 3-4-3.

However now I'm tempted to get Chadli in for Boyd and just bank on Costa/Aguero bringing home the goals consistently with an easy switch to Falcao for injuries etc...

    Would you seasoned pros do

    A) Stick at 3-5-2, downgrade Cahill and get Chadli in

    or

    B) Go 3-4-3, downgrade Cahill and get Welbeck/Sakho

RIf you are ever transferring 352 to 343 can I recommend saving a transfer the first week and not having a team that is neither one nor the other. Either option is fine B for me

Good point i know, this week I had to play the 5 in mid with Boyd getting me only 2 but survived with 65 points anyway!

Still have to take a hit this week to make the transition too :- )

    Do you guys think doing:

    Chester to Baines
DDG to 4.5 (Foster, Krul etc) for a hit is worth it?

Would leave me with a defence of:

    4.5
    Cahil/Baines/Duff/Dummet/Clyne

If I do this, it would mean that I would be unable to upgrade Downing in the future (0.1 itb)

Have 2 FTs now during intl break but not quite sure what to do with them. Want do upgrade by DEF but that would mean saying byebye to either an expensive MID or downgrading Pelle to perhaps Sakho and then Wilson or Naylor to Baines

    Heaton (Gilks)
    Clyne/Naylor/Wilson (Hutton/Moore)
    ADM/Sterling/Siggy/Fab (Boyd)
    Costa/Aguero/Pelle

    Any suggestions welcome
