After the best Gameweek tally in living memory, I reserve the right for a bit of a gloat. Having risked the Wildcard back in Gameweek 7, the stars aligned and everything fell into place last weekend, leaving my ScoutCast co-host, grumpy Granville, grabbing at straws and smashing TV sets in frustration.

After last season’s defeat, I revel in my moment of glory but still find time to lock horns with Granville over the great Costa debate. Is Jose playing with our minds? I certainly think so but, as Granville points out, I reckon the Lunar landings were fake. I love a good conspiracy, me.

      probably ditching for Oscar or Chadli. He's good value but the reality is that there are several other good-value players performing better than him right now with better fixtures too. You've got to look at it as 0.4 gained rather than 0.4 lost.

      Not sure. The trouble is 3 poor fixtures, followed by 2 excellent ones and a decent run after that. Too much value tied up to sell and re-buy.

      And I think the form debate is a bit distorted by his fixtures, and playing with 10 men. There's options though.

      Hold. Fixtures look good and transfers are valuable. Around Xmas you will end up using loads due to injuries/rotation/cancelled games.

    Well I went and did JT + Costa to KUN + Wisdom leaving me with:

    Think Costa will have a good long rest now and KUN will go on a rampage after being declared "in the form of his life" and "100% fit "

                Basically he thinks Mourinho is bluffing and that he'll start. It's the most convincing argument I've heard on it. Due to the fact he hasn't officially been ruled out.

      Just highlights how one footed some players are. Got more respect for players who can take it with both feet, Zidane vs Leverkusen and Luiz vs Basel spring to mind. I know Cazorla might not always play to potential but he genuinely can hit with both feet equally
