The Fantasy Flutter – Gameweek 12

After another international interruption, there’s just a few hours left until the domestic action resumes once again. Our quest to get the better of Paddy sees us turn our attentions to a couple of in-form midfielders from Chelsea and Tottenham, whilst QPR’s free-scoring frontman also gets the nod for the trip to injury-hit Newcastle.

First up, we make our way to Stamford Bridge as the league leaders prepare for the visit of a West Brom side that have scored three times on the road this season. Paddy are offering 7/2 on Oscar to score and Chelsea to collect a clean sheet, and bearing in mind the Brazilian has scored three times in the last six, we’re happy to make this our bet of the week and throw £4 their way.

Whilst Spurs continue to struggle under Mauricio Pochettino, Nacer Chadli is thriving as a Fantasy force. The Belgian grabbed his sixth goal of the season last time out and pays visit to a Hull side that has failed to score in each of the last three Gameweeks. With Paddy offering 8/1 on Chadli to score and for Spurs to earn a shut-out, we part company with another £3.

Our final bet is saved for St James’ Park. Newcastle have lost Fabricio Coloccini to injury, and with Steven Taylor regarded as “a big doubt” by Alan Pardew, the hosts’ recent run of clean sheets could be coming to an end. Charlie Austin has notched four in the last three now – including strikes against Chelsea and City – and with Paddy are willing to offer 66/1 on Austin to score twice and the R’s to grab a clean sheet, this one looks worth a flutter. We’re going to back Harry Redknapp’s side to the tune of our final £3.

Kind of, you get a student loan from the state of around £10000+ yearly, and if you pass all your exams then half of your total loan is transformed into air

almost set..bringing in Diego Costa, Austin, and (possibly only for this week even) maybe Fellaini; several players are doubts in midfield

still, need to decide whether to bench Downing, Sigurdsson, or Fellaini; also, Fabregas could possibly not play, which would then factor in with the sub moving in; input?...

Bit of a problem here with this team. I really wanted to hold my FT this week for 2FT next week. Thoughts?

    Forster / McCarthy

    Baines / Bertrand / Chambers / Wisdom / Duff

    Hazard / Sanchez / ADM / Downing / Obertan

    Aguero / Pelle / Sakho

I would hold. See how the injuries pan out - 2 FT next week will be handy

Fellaini or Larsson for a short-term punt?, to round out midfield

Morning dzzzz, really needed some help as i have no idea what to do. have 1ft and 0.6m

    krul
clyne chester chambers --- yun naylor
tadic adm sanchez siggy --- arfield (doubt)
    costa kun sakho

    1) Def is very bad for this gw. start chambers (MUN) or yun (new)
    2) bench is very weak as i dont see sakho starting...so

A: chester >> kaboul...although spurs have tough fixtures but rmt tool loves him. If i do this move, i wont get a chel def as having a def from ars/spu/chel is a bit too much on defense. So if i get kaboul, i can downgrade clyne next week too xxx to fund a tadic upgrade. Its not a bad strategy with the downside of no chel def. but the transfer is pointless if chester can keep a cs vs spurs?

B: chester >> hutton...nailed on over lowton? will they keep a cs against sot? next weeks move is clyne >> azpi. but the transfer is pointless if chester can keep a cs vs spurs?

C: chester + tadic >> azpi + chadli (-4).....decent move i think but i want to give tadic his final week, the fear of regret will haunt me if i sell him now. plus i still rate chadli

    D: chester + tadic >> azpi + barkley (-4)...same logic as above
E: sakho >> austin...this is a very interesting, got sakho two weeks ago and have regretted it. Any indicatino if he will play? austin looks the real deal

F: save FT...given my lack of conviction in other moves, could save, hope for the best and re-assess with 2 fts next gw

Baby will wake up soon, it is starting to wiggle I think I will just have to stick with Aguero. Just have a feeling it will be a good round for Chelsea players

Players as in plural. Gotta share the points round. Aguero gets all City points.
