In terms of consistency, arguable, in comparing players at their peak, I don't think so.I can only think of Adams who was arguably better.
What about Kompany in 10/11. In that one year, he was the best centre back in the world, and better than Terry at his best imo.

Yeh. If we're talking about the best career of a centre back, he's definitely up there. Hard to compare great centre backs when so much is dependent on defensive partnerships though.
